Predatory Behavior
Offered a free trial and months after it ended they started changing me for the service. They will not refund the false charges and claim that they have to have a special department cancel my account. This special department cannot be called but must call you which, you guessed it, never calls.

I've been dealing with Boss Exteriors for a number of years and I have always found them to be very professional, honest, friendly, good at what they do and I'm happy to recommend them. Mark Hamelin has become not only my main contact but the "go to guy" on all manners of issues of house gutters and roof issues. I feel like he and company are looking after me.
Predatory company for sure. sales company masked as a software. Charges you as fast as they can and lock you in. My company hasn’t even opened yet and the guy has tried to charge me 5 times and illegally did it once. Insane and desperate.

There are very few reports that give you any information out of the system. The dash boards they have do not provide the detail you need to run your business. The payroll system you are lucky to get it to actually print a payroll check. RUN FROM THIS SOLUTION!

Not a bad app if you're small and don't plan to scale. Otherwise, I highly recommend not using HC to automate processes. After using HC for about 3 years, we've learned that It's extremely limited in what it can automate, does not offer many helpful integrations, in-app workflows are clunky and not intuitive, functionality is buggy, and the support team is very slow to respond and does not usually offer valuable insight.

Unfortunately, my experience with Housecall Pro was very disappointing. The platform sounded great upfront, but once I started using it, I ran into multiple issues that made it more frustrating than helpful. Features didn’t work as expected, and customer support was slow to respond and not very helpful when they did. For the price being charged, I expected a much smoother experience and better support. Overall, it feels unreliable and not worth the cost. I wouldn’t recommend this service unless major improvements are made

I have my own company and manage another, they constantly call for us to sign up for their service. I have begged for the calls to stop, but they continue.. There is nothing but AI on their site, the people calling for us to buy the product often have kids screaming in the background, they clearly sub out their commission based sales. This company is getting a bad reputation among the trades.

1/4/26 They are constantly creating new features. When they do, they constantly call to get you to sign up. No free trials. When you use these new features for a month then ask for a refund, you get nothing back whether you were satisfied with the new product or not. They chose to deny an $80 refund when I've been paying them $250 a month for the past 3 years.
EDIT: 1/16/26 Since writing this review, I have been waiting on a $300 refund for the 2nd month billing cycle. Again, I never used the service. It has now been 2 weeks and I was told I would hear back in 48 hours.
You can say that you care and hide behind policy. You're actions show the truth.

I got roped into this pretty quickly after simply Googling things like how to get more business in my housecleaning. After 8 stressful hours of trying to understand their stupid app, I realized it wasn’t for me. Trying to cancel was a fail…several chats, 3 phone calls later, and “someone has been assigned and will DEFINITELY call you,” I marked my debit card as stolen to escape a future billing from these mf b******.

I am a plumber that has been called by HCP multiple times to do a demonstration that will only take 30 minutes. In return they offer a $50 Amazon giftcard. Which they never send out. I called them several times and they say remember to check your spam folder. Lol, I receive all your emails in my regular inbox, but the email with the giftcard goes to spam. So, I check every Saturday because they supposedly go out on Fridays, nothing. I gave them my time twice and got screwed twice. My time is valuable and having it waste with no compensation is BS. I wouldn't recommend doing business with liars.

I`m paying for a VoIP service with them and been using it for 2 years but I have no service for the past 30 days, for a business it`s a disaster and we already lost more than 20k dollars on the customers we lost. The support found a bug and confirmed that it`s on their side but they don't know how to fix it. We're switching to another service and moving all our database which is a hustle. Save yourself some time and check their competitors before commit to this service

Customer service has noticeably improved over the past couple of months. We were recently assigned a Housecall Pro Success Advisor, and Matthew has been fantastic to work with. He’s proactive, follows up when I get busy, and genuinely advocates for us. Honestly — he deserves a raise.

My experience with housecallpro has been nothing, but frustrating. The platform is marked as an all-in-one solution, but it consistently fails at the most basic functions, Features that should be simple either don't work, or are buried under confusing menus, or require unnecessary workarounds. Support is slow, unhelpful, and often provides generic answers that don't solve anything.
For a service that charges as much as they do, the reliability and usability are extremely disappointing. I've wasted more time troubleshooting this software then it has saved me. If you're a small business looking for something efficient and trustworthy look elsewhere house call pro has been nothing but a headache.

We had a few issues on start up but the account management team has been great and most of our issues have been resolved by their product team. They are constantly working on fixing any issues and improving the platform. We have tried others and while this is not perfect and there are still a few issues we would like to have resolved, it is the best one i have found for the price. In my opinion there are only a few out there that may be better and they are prohibitively expensive. I feel this is definitely the best bang for our buck. We are confident that they will continue to improve over time. Huge improvement over our last provider.

I have 2 erroneous credit card charges that I never authorized and the support has been less than supportive with taking care of this matter.
The 'support' is nothing but a merry-go-round of non-answers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My name is Antoine L Travers from ALT DIRECT Alarm & Video Surveillance Services. There seems to be a major disconnect with the services you offer and the services that you get!!
I am finding that you offer credit card services but you seem to present these services in a very flawed manner. I will explain, if my client pays a deposit, or a bill for services rendered using a credit card , and as you except that charge from that client, would that not be money earned by me providing these services? I would say yes.
But for some reasons unknown you're company believes that this is your money to steal and hold just for any or no reason at all!!.
I find this theft of money very disturbing and flawed. This allows you to hold any or all money once you have received the money from any or all of the credit card companies or banks . But then to control and hold these monies in order to steal , and hold to gain interest on said money for any unknown terms as long as you want!! So according to the law a theft is determined by possession because possession is 9/10s of criminal law.
So that means for those who may not understand, that if you have taken possession of money that was paid to a vendor for any period of time beyond the time it takes to transfer to your account, would and should be determine as a theft of one's money and services on that date of charge!!
These actions have caused the current flawed services that you are said to supply!!
So in layman's terms if I take your credit card payment, and then hold that payments money from who you are paying that payment to, I would then be guilty of that theft of your money because I am holding it because I can without any explanation!! It is theft!!
So to be speak frankly , it is very difficult to say anything positive about theft !
