I recently experienced the expertise of Timothy Carter to design a custom sign plaque for our two new build homes and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From the outset, Tim demonstrated exceptional creativity and professionalism, delivering a design that perfectly captured the essence of our houses.

The quality of the materials used is outstanding, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the plaque. It has received numerous compliments from our neighbours, and it truly adds a touch of elegance to our home.

I wanted to replace an old house number with something different and eclectic. Having spent time looking we were about to give up on the idea when we found Tim of housenumberplaques. I was very impressed with his site and examples. I knew what I wanted, designed and proportioned a template on pc and printed. Sent to Tim who repeated the process. Tim communicated throughout the order, when I received the plaque in robust, grey slate – my number etched in letters spelling my number I was thrilled. The quality was outstanding, exactly as our templates and exactly what I wanted – I couldn’t possibly be more pleased.

Having moved into a new property I was looking for a unique, stylish door plaque that would compliment the property.
Scouring the net there was one supplier that was totally different to the run of the mill suppliers. That was Tim / housenumberplaques.co.uk.
I contacted Tim and requested a mock-up of the sign to get an idea of what it would look like from the vast number of fonts Tim can provide.
The mock-up from Tim quickly arrived and helped make my mind up that despite being more costly than the ‘run of the mill’ signs you can buy online it was worth purchasing.
Having placed my order Tim kept me updated on the progress from starting the plaque to providing a tracking number once dispatched.
The plaque was received in a sturdy well packaged box with ample protection. Taking it out of the box protected by ample bubble wrap you could tell by the sheer weight it was an item of ‘quality’.
On unwrapping the plaque and viewing it was ‘top quality’, not only the materials used, ie, the slate and glass, but also the craftsmanship. From the etching and sandblasting of the glass and the dressing of the slate to the very well-engineered fixings that secure the slate and glass together.
I am delighted with the purchase/plaque (as was the Mrs when she saw it as a surprise purchase!) It looks fantastic now mounted in position.

Following placement of my order, Time kept me informed throughout the process. The number plaque was delivered quickly, looking exceptionally stylish, and well worth the money.

The first thing you notice about this product is the sheer weight of the thing, really solid, really good quality. The next thing is the excellent finish that is achieved with the engraving/sandblasting.
OK, they aren't the cheapest on the market, but they are also unlike anything else on the market. If you are looking for something that is both unique and noteworthy, these really do fit the bill.

I bought a number plate from Tim and it is absolutely amazing. So different to so many out there and exceptionally well made. Really happy with my purchase and Tim has been incredible with his customer service. All round great experience so would highly recommend.

I have just installed my new illuminated House Name Plaque and what a pleasure it has been. To say that I'm delighted is an understatement.
The quality of this British made product, from materials used to the workmanship employed in it's manufacture is absolutely superb, and harks back to times past when 'outstanding quality' was the norm.
Mr Carter has been a delight to talk with, extremely helpful and very proactive throughout the entire process from placing my order to delivery.
My new 'Illuminated House Name' has already proved to be a boon to late night delivery drivers, and must be a God-send to all emergency services should their attendance to my home be needed!
