This is my second time purchasing from Houston Natural Mattress. What has been most valuable is receiving guidance on these purchases locally, without it feeling like a high pressure sales environment. Every time I've purchased prices have been competitive with online sources too.

I genuinely feel SO lucky I happened to have Steve help me today.. I moved to a new apartment today, and needed a mattress ASAP. Out of curiosity, I called Macy’s furniture to see what they had in stock. They had nothing in stock - everything was 4-6 weeks out from being delivered. I had been planning on buying a natural mattress for a while, and finally the opportunity presented itself. I only hoped they wouldn’t have such a long wait, if any. I seriously hit the jacket with Steve at Houston Natural Mattress. He explained everything I wanted to know about the mattresses I was choosing between (composition, materials, etc.) If you don’t already know, our homes are FILLED with items that continually retain, off-gas or shed stuff that is terrible for our bodies. Some people may roll their eyes at this, and those are the people that clearly have never had a severe allergic reaction to a chemical in their home from a seemingly innocent object (mattress, carpet, paint, countertops), or haven’t witnessed a loved one react in a negative way to said chemicals. The amount of carcinogenic chemicals leaching from something like a mattress is frightening (and easily researched, ask google), and to think it’s something we use every single day makes it even worse. I am SO happy I get to sleep in the most comfortable and now safest mattress I could find, just like our grandparents did. Back then, mattresses were made with the same natural materials being used now to make these new natural mattresses, but of course somewhere along the way, companies found ways to cut costs, and out came their “new and improved” versions, that also introduced tons of new chemicals into our households. If you care even a little about the health of your body, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a luxurious and CLEAN nights rest, every night! Thank you again, Steve, you made my day!!

Max was extremely knowledgeable and spent so much time with us making sure we found the mattress that works for our lifestyle the best! We believe it is so important to know what you are breathing in, since 50% of your life can be spent on your mattress. I can feel good about my family sleeping in a healthy environment.
