Don't get a Hover Round

I have been dealing with bad customer service, excuses and out right lies from these people. Call wait times are long, they don't or can't give you any information and in my experience their whining about not having techs to come out to fix their products when they break down is not my problem and it's bad business to make excuses instead of having the services they promise when they made the sale. This company, at least in the Portland service area should be shut down. Bate and switch and empty promises is no way to do business. I'm planning on contacting Nu Motion and seeing if they can help me get an appropriate wheelchair for me without all the games.

The company did a great job to make the sale, but the service afterwards was terrible! The company submitted the paperwork to the insurance company to get an approval. I was approved at the first of April and was contacted and told that the first available Delivery date was April 24th. The delivery person called the night before to schedule the delivery. When he arrived the elevator was inoperable, he stated I should call and reschedule when it was working. I asked what they do when a person lived somewhere that didn't have an elevator, I was told that the would have two people. After three days the elevator was not working and I called Hoveround if they could schedule two people to deliver the chair, and I was told that they didn't have two people to make the delivery. After a week and the elevator was still not working the management at my apartment stated that if Hoveround would deliver the chair, that they would bring it up to my apartment. I contacted Hoveround and they stated that they could not do that because they have to deliver the chair. My management said that if Hoveround would tell them when their company could come back, that the would have someone here to bring the chair to me and that they could come up to my apartment with the movers, and then deliver the paperwork and be there. Hoveround again said no. After two more days I called and requested to cancel the order, I was told that a manager would call me back to work some out. After two days I had not received a call so I called back to cancel. I was again told that a manager would call me that day. No one called. The next day I called an requested that the order be canceled. The representative again said that someone would call me, I asked the the order be canceled and that my payments be refunded.
