Homestead Roofing and Building Ltd - HR Group 

I used HR Group in 2019 after various recommendations from neighbourhood groups. The work was to completely renew our main roof and the roofs of two extensions. The quote was transparent and competitive.
The work was carried out diligently and in a timely manner. The staff was very considerate and I was updated along the way about progress, remaining work.
I have since then used HR Group for minor additional work.
I cannot recommend HR Group highly enough.

This company sorted my leaky roof good and proper.
New felt, new tiles, new gutters 6 hours and it was done.

These workmen did a thoroughly professional job on our flat roofs and also perfectly fitted a replacement Velux window. They worked hard the whole time they were here ,came when they were expected and tidied up perfectly each day.
The cost was less than I expected.

HR group contractors are working in my next building and they damage my property they are service is very bad I’m really upset about that .

Replaced lead flashing, excellent people to deal with and did a very neat job. Definitely use them for any future roofing issues

Over the past few months we have had a few roof issues that needed attending to and have had a very good experience with Homestead. They had to replace one of our roofs and do some work retiling and repointing to the others, as we were experiencing leaks. They stuck with us until the end, even coming up with a creative solution to our poorly constructed roof and skylights, and kept us informed, were extremely responsive and the workmanship was very good.

HRB carried out two jobs for us on roof terraces both to a very high standard and we are pleased with the results. The workmen were very careful and knowledgeable. One of the jobs was extremely small and fiddly but HRB took it on and did it well.

Working with Rob and team is a pleasure. Honest, reliable, trustworthy.

I was dreading having my roof replaced but my experience from start to finish with HR was excellent. The whole thing happened in just over a week with very little hassle or disruption. The quality of the work is excellent. Every time I bump into a neighbour they comment on the speed and craftsmanship of the workers and ask for their details. I highly recommend HR GROUP and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again on future projects.

I have used Homestead twice over the last six months and on both occasions experience has been nothing short of exemplary. Rob has always got back to me very quickly and been round to the house to look at the issues immediately. The quality of workmanship has been excellent with great care being taken by the team to clear up behind them leaving no trace. I was very pleased with the work carried out to replace a very old slate roof on my Victorian kitchen extension. It also involved replacement of a small flat roof alongside and the remodelling of part of a first floor balcony. All new building material had to be carried through my house initially and afterwards all the old timbers and slates etc. taken back through for disposal. The builders/roofers were very good about taking care of the flooring and interior of my house as they did this. I found them to be hardworking and polite. I would recommend this company for understanding what was necessary to carry out the job and for listening to my questions and showing me the reconstruction as it progressed. I believe the results are very satisfactory.

No one wants to have roofing problems BUT this company made the whole experience easy from the first inspection to the last bit of scaffolding going out.

I included HR Group in a competitive tender for some roof repairs on a rental four storey terraced townhouse as they were on a surveyor's approved contractor list and also were recommended by builder friend of mine. Their tender proposal was the strongest in terms of solution suitability and cost, and they were willing to use a JCT contract template. The works were completed quickly and satisfactorily with no disruption to the tenants and good communication throughout. I have since recommended them to another friend with roof problems.

This is the second time we have used HR to replace a roof on a listed Victorian property, and both times we have been highly satisfied with the quality of their work, and the skill of their people. We would recommend them highly.
