HSL Chairs - Peterborough Reviews 

I visited this morning after learning that I have an unexpected health issue which will require life saving surgery and a long rehabilitation. Dawn and Pushpa went out of there way to help me and we're kind and patient even after I got a little emotional. I couldn't have asked for better customer service.

My wife and I needed some new furniture for the house that we have downsized to now we are in our twighlight years. We have had bad experiences with previous furniture stores, however, we needn’t have worried when we visited the store in Peterborough, we were greeted at the door by the lovely Pushpa. That welcome to us meant a lot and immediately put us at rest and marked our minds that we were dealing with a company that loved customers. Absolutely nothing like the other competitors.
Going back to the welcome at the door and the customer service. The company hierarchy can implement this procedure BUT it can only come across to customers as genuine if your heart is in it and Pushpa did and she meant it.
It was lovely.

Delivery of my chair in mid June by Lee and Carl. Arrived nice and early. Products unwrapped and handled with care. Polite and professional and everything explained to me. Highly recommended.

The product is clearly a high quality product but I felt that there was no transparency of the cost of various features for example the riser function would cost an additional x amount (I still don't know). The sales person was very chatty and friendly but I suspect was not entirely honest with me in an effort to engage with me and secure the purchase. The final price came as a shock, it was nearly double what I had expected to pay and the "discount" merely covered the delivery charge. I left the shop feeling like I had been taken advantage of because of the very high price and lack of transparency on how this was reached.

Your staff member was very helpful and also very patient. Was very polite and helped us enormously.

The staff were attentive but never pushy. They were well informed on all aspects of the furniture. I was given all the information I needed and was delighted to be told that I was entitled to a reduction due to medical conditions. No other store informed me of this. I have and will continue to recommend HSL to friends and family. A lovely relaxing atmosphere in the store and attentive, well informed staff. Thank you HSL

We received excellent customer service in your Peterborough store. All the options were shown to us and we were able to try each and every one of them. Our choices were checked for being the correct fit and we had plenty of time to sit and really test our final choice for comfort. We are looking forward to receiving our new furniture.

A really good experience with HSL, from the staff in the Peterborough showroom, to the people in head office in Wakefield, to the delivery team of Lee and Carl. Pushpa at the showroom was particularly helpful when we were making a decision about fabric, seat pad and the height of the chair.
