Very slow

Had to wait for 1.5 month to receive the certificate, which I needed to access a building site.

Thank you for your review, and we’re sorry to hear about the delay you experienced in receiving your certificate — we appreciate how important this can be.

To clarify, once a learner completes their course with HSQE Ltd, we immediately notify IOSH, who are responsible for issuing certificates. Under normal circumstances, certificates are issued by IOSH within a few days.

Unfortunately, IOSH recently implemented an update to their IT systems which introduced an issue affecting certificate processing times across all its approved training providers. This resulted in delays well beyond the usual timescales.

While this is outside HSQE Ltd’s direct control, we fully recognise the impact it has had on our learners. Our team has been in daily contact with IOSH throughout, actively supporting and chasing progress to help ensure certificates are issued as quickly as possible to our students.

We understand the frustration this has caused and are pleased that IOSH have been working to resolve the issue and return to normal service levels. Updates have been shared on their website: https://iosh.com/system-updates#:~:text=What’s%20the%20latest?,issues%20with%20the%20following%20tasks ) and their LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/iosh/posts/

If there is anything further we can do to support you, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

Certificate not received and no help

I recently completed the IOSH Managing Safely online course with **HSQE Vital Skills** and successfully passed the exam. According to their website, I should have received my certificate within 7 days. However, it has now been over a month and I have not received anything.

There is no certificate available in my online account, and nothing has been sent to my home address by post. I contacted customer support twice, and on both occasions I was told to contact **IOSH** directly. So far, I still have no information about my certificate.

I paid £150, studied hard, and passed the exam, yet I have neither a physical nor a digital certificate. It does not appear anywhere in my account. I find this very unprofessional and not helpful at all. It seems like there is little concern about providing clear information or properly supporting customers. I expected much better service and communication.

Thank you for your review, and congratulations on successfully completing your course.

We’re sorry to hear about the delay you experienced in receiving your certificate and appreciate how frustrating this must have been, particularly after the time and effort you invested.

To clarify, once a learner completes their course with HSQE Ltd, we immediately notify IOSH, who are the only organisation that can issue the certificates. Under normal circumstances, certificates are issued within a few days.

Unfortunately, IOSH recently implemented an update to their IT systems which introduced an issue affecting certificate processing times across all approved training providers. This resulted in delays well beyond the usual timescales.

While this sits outside of HSQE Ltd’s direct control, we fully recognise the impact this had. Our Tutor and Support Team responded to your emails and remained actively engaged throughout, and we have been in regular contact with IOSH to help progress outstanding certificates so far as possible.

Updates have been shared on the IOSH website: https://iosh.com/system-updates#:~:text=What’s%20the%20latest?,issues%20with%20the%20following%20tasks ) and their LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/iosh/posts/

We note that your certificate has now been issued, although we fully accept that the timescale you experienced was not acceptable and fell short of expectations.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding communication. While IOSH are the awarding body responsible for issuing certificates and providing definitive updates, we will reflect on your experience to see how we can further improve the clarity and support we provide to our learners during situations like this.

If there is anything further we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

unhelpful dead ends

the interface very often doesnt let you move forwards and you can spend hours trying different ways to work around erroneous messageswhich are asking you to complete or open things that you've already completed or operned multiple times.
I've done others - this is by far the worst.

I was asked to complete 3 courses prior…

I was asked to complete 3 courses prior to attending site for Siemens. I paid, enrolled etc. I worked through the modules but the system would not record this therefore wouldn't let me complete assessments. After talking to them ( bear in mind I couldn't get on site at this point ) I was told I should have tried hitting F5 on my keyboard, refreshed and logged out and back in. As a candidate it is not my job to navigate around known software issues on a poorly delivered course with pathetic course content on a platform with known issues. If I could give a zero star review I would. After all this I only got a partial refund. I advise agencies/employers to read this review before asking candidates to complete these courses .... And HSQE! Provide the service you are selling!!!! Provide courses with a user friendly interface ona platform that works!!! You guys are pathetic

Excellent course

Really good and informative course - so much better online and doing it at your own pace rather than having to travel and stay in hotels etc. Online is the way forward - with full, concise, tutor support if required. Cheers JC, appreciated both time wise and support wise.

Great value for money!

I was looking for an informative course within a short time frame to help fill a gap in my knowledge around asbestos, this was perfect for me as the access to it was fast and I now feel confident in this area, will be recommending to my other colleagues!
