Useless Product

My wife ordered two anti bark collars and neither worked after a week. They cost just under £60 for the two of them. Very poor quality. I asked my wife if she had looked for reviews about the product and she said that she did - obviously not hard enough.

Do not use this company

I ordered some skin tag removers over the phone I was told I would receive them through standard delivery 3 to 5 days, I didnt receive them so I emailed another 3 times with no reply, today I had an email stating they are out of stock and I would receive them then, this was unsatisfactory so I asked for a refund. Guess what no reply do not I stress do not use this company

Terrible 'Couldn't Care Less' Service

I placed an online order 6 weeks ago after reciving the HSSUK brochure with the Daily Mail. I ordered three items one of which was for an elderly disabled person to use for exercise. No e-mail confirmation was received & no reply to my e-mail querying the non arrival of the items was received. I have phoined twice & told that one item was still out of stock - could they not have let me know by e-mail, this is 2021 after all but it seems this company are in the dark ages! While writing this review I am on hold (18th in the queue) to customer service again. ....
After being told that the item arrived in the wharehouse last week, I am now told that it isn't due in stock for another week!! I have cancelled the item & requested a refund (I wonder if I will ever see this in my account?) The womantaking my call wasn't overly impressed with my cancelling & asking for money back & seemed to want to hang up rapidly.
I will never order from sales leaflets/booklets in a newspaper again.

Poor Effort

Ordered earwax removers about 3 weeks ago . No mention of being out of stock at that time . E-mailed them after a week & they replied saying they were out of stock & due w/c 8/2 . Not arrived so I’ve e-mailed them yesterday morning & heard nothing . Opened an account to use them again but that won’t be happening . Order was only £10 so money isn’t that important . Customer service is awful

Don't order anything from this company. HSSUK

Having dealt with Home Shopping in the past I have nothing good to say about them. I ordered some spraynseal when it arrived it was Clear seal a completely different product. I complained and they sent another can which again was not what I ordered, I complained again and they sent another can again the wrong one. In the end I gave up so have 3 tins which are completely useless to me. Now I see they have a full page advert in The Sun on Sunday. Stay well clear of this company they haven't a clue as to what they are doing.You seem to take pot luck as to the product you receive.

My elderly parents placed an order on 7th November (sent a cheque). My mother called them to chase the order a month later but they confirmed they hadn’t received her order and knew nothing about it. My mum told them the date the cheque cleared and gave them all the information they needed but still not good enough. They got my mother to go down to her bank twice during lockdown (40 min walk) and my mother has also made numerous calls to them at a cost. They just don’t care. My parents are still waiting on a refund from them even though the refund was issued on 26th January. Disgusting customer service. The majority of their customers are elderly so they think they can get away with treating them poorly. I called them today to give them a piece of my mind and said I would take this further if the cheque wasn’t received in the next week. This is pure theft on their part. How on earth can a company not trace a cheque that was cashed by their own company? This company shouldn’t be trading and the staff working for them sacked as they are totally incompetent.

Dreadful scam

I made an order online and never received an email confirmation though my bank account showed they had taken my money. I tried to phone the next day and could not get anyone to answer so I emailed them and still have no reply. I think this company is a scam and will never use them again.

Do not reply to questions.

Placed order for a number of things.
Large slippers ordered, sent Small.
Draft excluder not sent but took 16 days to issue credit.
used these people before but never again.
Used their contact page - no reply.
Sent an email - no reply.
Will give slippers to charity shop and request these people stop sending me stuff.

Broken telescope

We purchased a telescope in August for our grandsons birthday in September. When he opened the parcel it was broken. We returned it and home shopping advised us that the money had gone back into our account. We bought another telescope from Argos so that our grandson had his present.
Four months later and after many phone calls, we are still waiting for our refund. Each time they tell us it has been paid back.
I would not recommend this company and would never buy anything else from them. We will be taking them to the small claims court.

Excellent Service from Home Shopping

I was shocked to read some of the reviews on this company, My experience was so different.
I ordered some Items for Christmas and about a week later they Emailed me and told me my items had been dispatched and they arrived within 48hrs. Excellent service,,,

These people have cashed my fathers…

These people have cashed my fathers cheque and NO goods have arrived and it’s been over a month. If you try and call them you are charged per minute for the call and we are yet to hear from our complaint! This magazine came with The Mail on Sunday and you would expect them to be trustworthy, but it’s obvious that the Mail on Sunday just want the money for putting the magazine in their papers and don’t care about their readers as they can’t have made any checks on these people! Beware before ordering!!!

I read all the reviews and was a little concerned . However , I took the plunge and could not be more delighted.
I was advised when order was about to be dispatched and it arrived within 48 Hours. Brilliant customer service and no problems at all. One very delighted customer.

Be patient - they do deliver

I read previous reviews AFTER I had placed 2 orders and was really concerned that I had made a huge mistake; however, I did eventually receive my goods and no extra payments or anything like that were taken from my account.

HSS customer service really needs to be overhauled so that emails are answered within 24 hours. (I did not try to phone them as I thought it might be pointless.)

Their tracking system needs the same as the links do not work and the Paypal option needs looking at as well as it also does not work.

I got the feeling that this is a company only used to receiving orders from catalogues and they are really struggling with how to properly deal with online customer service, not to mention getting their IT department to sort out broken links etc..

So I was patient, and not rude or angry, in my correspondence - and I eventually got an email update about my order although it took 2 weeks :) and they did deliver what I ordered.

unwanted mail

This company are now sending regular calalogues to my late husband. The 1st & 2nd were returned marked that the addressee was deceased. The 3rd time I sent an email explaining and now another has come. This is very upsetting for me.

Disgusting

My story is long & I won't bore anyone with all if it- only I will say there is no satisfactory customer service The bones of my complaint - along with other issues - I received the wrong size & colour sandals - despite what the box stated- & returned them After 2 weeks I telephoned customer services & they advised me they had not received them & said I should take my query to the post office - I find that offensive & have given up on it So far it has cost me in total with return postage £25 for their mistake I will never buy anything from this company ever again

I placed an ordered in July and im still waiting now in September for my Order to be delivered!
Ive rang the company's customer service a couple of times but all I received was a frosty,rude reception and being told my order will be delivered , which on two separate occasions was told a "delivery date" ( which obviously both those dates have been and gone)
