Super Foods and Oxalate Damage

I booked a nutritionist appointment with Kirsty due to my health and getting zero help through the nhs. My diet is really healthy no junk food etc, I had introduced a load of new and old foods for fibre, chi seeds, spinach and sweet potato to name a few. I still felt terrible and still felt like my body was literally giving up. The inflammation and pain and anxiety was progressively getting worse every day. My fingers felt and looked like chunky cigars my skin was peeling hands and feet. I couldn’t get the anxiety to subside. Then I found out about oxalates in food through Kirsty. With the research I then did, my mind was blown. I have seen 3 different dietitian’s many specialist and doctors within the NHS, none of them told me to avoid or mentioned about oxalates and how they intensify pain, inflammation and incontinence etc. I now know with the conditions I lived with I shouldn’t have been eating all those so called super foods high in oxalates.
I also have two neighbours who have sever kidney issues and again nobody within the NHS has told them to avoid high oxalate foods. They now know due to my own research and passing on the information. They r now doing their own research to prevent further damage to their kidneys and health due to high oxalates in food.
You believe you’re eating very healthy food especially spinach but the oxalates have detrimental effect on the body. These are a few ways oxalates in food effect the body.
Gut problems including bloating (oxalates can irritate the mucosal lining throughout the body)
Chronic pain, Kidney stones, Interstitial cystitis (a syndrome of painful bladder)
Vulvar pain and vulvodynia
Joint pain
Inflammation (muscle stiffness, bloating)
Autoimmune conditions
Mineral deficiency
Autism

Kirsty has an amazing wealth of…

Kirsty has an amazing wealth of knowledge in both medical & holistic health care. She's also a Qualified Nutritionist & Silent Counselling Practitioner & Trainer. We are all connected by mind, body & spirit this is why taking medication for ailments doesn't work in the long run, it just masks the symptoms. You need to get to the root cause & look at the body as a whole ie, where energy is off, correct minerals, nutrients, lifestyle etc. If there's anything you're tackling, not sure of or just wanting to better your health I'd highly recommend Kirsty for all your health needs. She's absolutely fantastic at what she does. Kirsty also trained me in Silent Counselling. Ashley Gillies
