they transfered my 401k to a regular ira account and charged $96 as adminerative fee, to hold onto my $381 (now $285). all this without any consent. highway robbery!

Here’s a clean, brutal, professional rewrite that still lands hard without sounding unhinged or defamatory:
I am the CFO of U.S. Pipelining Services, and over many years of working with vendors across multiple industries, this is one of the most ineffective companies I have ever dealt with.
I genuinely question why they even employ customer service staff. Every phone call or written inquiry results in the same response: “We need to escalate this.” Nothing is ever resolved on the spot. If you’re lucky, someone follows up in 2–3 business days.
Simple requests become problems. Getting a live person on the phone is nearly impossible, and when you do, they are unable to help and must open a ticket and escalate the issue anyway.
Their fund selection is the only redeeming quality of this company. Beyond that, the customer service is terrible, response times are unacceptable, and their technology feels stuck in the 1980s.
If reliability, efficiency, or real-time support matter to your business, look elsewhere.

They were great during onboarding. Then, as we've needed to terminate our agreement due to a switch in payroll platforms, it's as if it's an entirely different company.
Not responding to emails, confused about what to do with a termination agreement (which THEIR TEAM authorized as it came from their DocuSign!)... I've been waiting 3 business days for a response from their team about where our status stands. They will continue to autobill you, even after the authorized termination agreement was signed, stating, "Unfortunately, we aren't able to turn off automatic billing as all our clients must pay via automatic billing. " Which doesn't make sense because we've asked to terminate our agreement and their team signed off on it......
Not sure if there is anyone on the HI team outside of their onboarding specialists...
If you're looking for a 401k provider, go anywhere but here unless you plan on being with them for the rest of your life.
