Humax aura ez

I thought this was supposed to be easy to set up. I ended up paying a Virgin installation guy to give it a go, but to no avail. I've only got 8 apps showing, and there isnt one for Playstore, so I cant download YouTube or anything else. On a daily basis I have to unplug the box and tv, and plug back in to get rid of whatever random glitch each day presents. Regularly I've a black screen but sound is ok, but other times there's a picture and no sound. Then there's the missed recordings. There are so many problems that I cant detail them all. I rang the number on the leaflet enclosed, and ended speaking to a guy in the US. I asked if there are people in the UK that are familiar with these boxes that I can pay to set it up, but no, there aren't. So in brief, would I recommend this product, most definitely not. My old Humax box was so much better, hence my total disappointment with this 'improved' version

Great service from Humax Customer…

Great service from Humax Customer Services, regarding issues with my Aura UHD Recorder. Pauline was very knowledgeable and sent me step-by-step procedures for me to carry out on my recorder to establish if these would rectify the issues I was experiencing, in particular, picture break-up and pixelation. Over a period of time, and further investigations and procedures, the issues persisted and arrangements were made to replace my recorder. Grateful thanks to Pauline for her help (and patience!).

Now my box workds as needed!

Having lost all my internet Apps on my Humax box, I contacted Humax via website - in the hope I MIGHT get a reply...

Thanks to Marcus in the Customer Support team who provided me with precise and easy step by step guide to get my older Humax box working again.

Well done Marcus and Humax for caring and bothering to help

I was pleasantly surprised that even though my box was old and well out of any warranty period.

Had loads of their boxes

Had loads of their boxes, absolutely rubbish restarts while your watching television and only records some of the recordings. Customer are rubbish come back same answers all the time that don't work. If there was another make that done the same specs on I would change

Prompt dispatch and delivery by DPD who…

Prompt dispatch and delivery by DPD who gave me a 1hour time slot. Parcel was well packaged and the contents in good condition. The recorder works well and does everything claimed for it. I am very happy with it.

100% satisfaction

Our Humax box is fairly old but still working well.
The handset had sticky keys and I wanted to replace it.
Marcus at Humax Customer Support was able to give me the information required to purchase the correct replacement, he gave me some options of where to purchase from as there were none in their stockroom.
I ordered from my fav online provider - it came very quickly and worked straight out of the box.
100% satisfaction, Thank You

I have a humax recorder for years now…

I have a humax recorder for years now and I wanted to check HDD volume,could not find help in manual so contacted Humax. 24 hours later a gentleman called Marcus replied to my email with all the information I needed. That's what I call good service. well done.

Had a problem with my old freesat box

Had a problem with my old freesat box. The sound stopped. Contacted Humax and Marcus promptly answered with possible remedies. Box was fixed.
Cannot praise Macos enough. He was able to guide an unsavvy tech like me through the process.
Wish more companies invested in such skill

Great support from Marcus

Contacted customer support and Marcus got back to me very quickly. He gave me good, clear advice and I was able to get my Humax box working again very quickly. Before contacting them I had struggled for days after having a new dish installed.
