Hi . My name is Alona and I’m working in Hungry Dane. Some of you could say that I could write only good things and hide the truth only because I work here.. But when I read the review of Tristan Juul … I was shocked . And you know why ? The reality in our shop is opposite to what was written by this person. First of all those who visited our shop knows that there are ONLY 2 persons (maximum!!!) on the shift that’s why “the owner couldn’t shout at 1 guy and throw out another 1” because it’s 3 persons - simply we NEVER have 3 persons during one shift . If the owner was a such awful person , would I work here more than 2 years?!? Our team consists of calm well mannered people, we always polite to each other . That’s why nobody of us shout or speak loudly. We respect our clients. The review shows that Tristan Juul never visited our place . ( not because this person left a bad review )

The building where the shop located is really old . Very old 😅 but actually this fact gives atmosphere of hygge . And surely you can feel the smell of food - it’s an opened space place , there is no walls between stuff and clients and we make the best burgers which are the juiciest you could ever have. But you will never find the stains on tables :) - because we clean properly .
We never reheat food ( we even don’t have any equipment for this , no fry pan ). That’s why sometimes it could take some time to get your order . But we are sure that our clients ALWAYS GET FRESH MADE FOOD.

That’s why I simply ask before trusting such “fake ” reviews , visit Hungry Dane to get your own experience . Believe me , you will be surprised in a good way :)

Be careful, sketchy company.

Once I online ordered by error to a restaurant in Fredericia when I was in Copenhaguen. I immediately called the restaurant. After 3 calls and no one answering, the owner of H. Dane calls me back. I explain the situation and calls the restaurant in Fredericia. He said he could not return the money because everything was already prepared (this was like 5 to 8 minutes or so after I ordered). I said OK, I F*d it.

After discussing this matter on the phone and on SMS he admitted the restaurant was already closed when I checked their open times in their website. He admitted that their system let me order when I should not have had to. He denied returning the money even if my order could not have been prepared.

We had a long discussion on SMS and when I told him it was insane to charge me for something he did not prepare, he said he could give me some kroner for another order, which I just denied. I have never ordered here again, seemed scammy a F. I just did not like him lying on the phone that he would not return the money (something like 150 DKK) because the dinner was already prepared, when it was not true.
