The course is setup really well and easy to follow. I am so thankful to have this option available online, and it was really affordable.

Terrible waste of time and waste of government funding. Not useful at all

The online course was easy to follow, convenient and was clear and concise. I did not experience any moment of confusion with regard to the lessons being taught.

The material is overall good, but as others have said, the timing of the pages is WAY too long. I realize the need for the timer so people can't just skip along and answer the questions, but my 11 year old can read the pages 3 times out loud before the timer is up, thus him losing interest in sitting there to finish. My only other critique is many of the questions. I've hunted for over 30 years and I don't even know if I would pass this test the first time as, it wants exact verbatim answers while giving 4 possible and viable options to choose from. The test is banking on information recall and not actually learning much like standardized testing in schools. There have been many questions that have stumped my kid and I have gone to read them and all four possible answers would be correct in the real world, but the test is looking for a specific answer from a section that it took over an hour to get thru. If we had more time, we would definitely have done the in person class and skipped out on the online class, so we are having to make due. Will definitely not go this route with my other kids.

Useful information

This was a very informative, interesting course. In addition to the very useful gun safety tips regarding hunting, some of the information goes beyond that and touches on responsible firearm handling I learned in my pistol permit class.
All said, a very solid course filled with useful information! Highly recommend!!

Easy to use, very helpful

The hunter course was long but I learned a lot and I like how it was set up

Horribly boring, of rather poke my eyeballs out. It's taking me hours to get through. If this course has done anything it's reinforced that I am so not interested in hunting or guns. I didn't know that about myself before this god awful course. The web site claims it takes people about 3-4 hours to complete. That is a lie. It takes at least that to get through section 4 of 11. This is absolutely brutal. I regret it very much.
