This has been the most helpful when it comes to obtaining emails for possible prospects. I have been using it for almost 3 months now and I couldn't have provided the support that my superiors needed without the help of this tool. I do have a tiny concern when it comes verification, especially when it prompts you to verify using your LinkedIn. I did the verification using LinkedIn not knowing my Boss' account was actively signed in and now I am unable to change my profile picture because his picture is stuck on my profile. I do wish we could have the option to change/remove/add profile pictures. Yes, this is just a tiny concern, however it would be great to be able to personalize, or delete(in my case) because I made a mistake. Nevertheless, I find this tool to be very useful! :)

Giovanni in customer success truly went above and beyond to help me out!
I was locked out of the email attached to my account and was unable to manage my subscription.
Not only did the account get reassigned to the correct email, but for the month where I had not used the platform at all, the billing was reimbursed as credit.
Really really happy, they've got my business for the next yer for sure.

Told from company who sent illegal emails that they bought them from Hunter.io. Next stop- the ICO. And finally..... just to show how useless this company is, they got my name wrong. So, expect to be referred to ICO if you buy emails from this company

Spam is something we do not encourage with Hunter and we already have several measures in place to prevent it. For example, we are the only email finder tool to use 100% transparent data (data that can be currently found on the web). More information can be found here: https://hunter.io/our-data.
Due to that, all the emails in Hunter can be publicly found outside our tool: we don’t distribute emails or information associated with other third party databases.
While we fight spam since we want only to ease the process of contacting targeted professionals, we cannot, unfortunately monitor how emails are used (for privacy reasons).
However, in full accordance with the GDPR legislation we also provide a service (Claim) to claim your professional email to prevent from being listed in our tool: https://hunter.io/claim

Good starting point for email search and validation
Hunter.io made my job a lot easier to find emails of contacts working with various companies and it also helped me to validate the emails I already had. It is a nice tool, but there were quite a few contacts whom I couldn't locate using the search option.

Great chat support
I was in contact with the support team about a refund request that I made a while ago, but due to unforeseen circumstances, my email was lost. Upon providing proof of my refund request, I was refunded the initial amount and the renewal amount. Whilst not a fault on my part, I appreciate the attention I was given, and the short response time from submitting a request to the support team. Keep up the good work!

Scammers!!! Will never give you your money back.
Do not give this company money. They will not help you with your plans if you choose an option that is to big for your current workload.
They will never give you a refund and put you on a lower plan. Instead they will keep the money and just give you credits to use the next year.
This has happened aswell as other things that have made me highly never recommend the company please be careful when deciding to buy anything from them.

We’re sorry to read your review as my colleague Giovanni (Head of Customer Success at Hunter), assisted you via chat and email in the last two weeks.
After you upgraded and selected a Yearly plan (with a 12-month commitment), you requested to be downgraded to a different plan.
We were happy to offer an exception to our Terms of Service by downgrading your plan and issuing a credit for the plans’ cost difference as we don’t offer partial refunds when downgrading to other plans. Unfortunately, we never received a response from you despite several follow-ups.
Two days ago, you contacted us sharing a screenshot associated with the terms linked to another service claiming that it was taken from a website as you requested to have credits that don’t expire. Since all our plans are monthly limited subscriptions (as you used Hunter for 2 years you upgraded/downgraded across multiple plans), unused requests don’t roll over to the next monthly period.
We’d also like to remind you that we performed a refund exception for your back in September 2022 when you forgot to cancel as we are always looking to assist our users.
In case you should need further clarification or assistance (we are still waiting for a response for an open support case you opened), don’t hesitate to email us at contact@hunter.io.

An excellent service!
I've been using Hunter for many years alredy and have to say it's a real treasure. This service has all you need: data validation, email search, campaigns, team works...the list of features is endless. It's easy to use and, which is important, subscription plans are at very reasonable cost.
The Hunter team is very supportive and impressively responsive.
And I love the way Hunter keeps improving its service.

Actually, it wasn't GREAT - I didn't find the addresses I wanted but that is not your fault. A critical comment: You changed the layout which was better before you made the change. This is so typical of the digital world. MS does it all the time. Tries to fix that which isn't broken. You people forget that we amateurs take some effort to learn systems and get accustomed to routines, even if not perfect. ANY change means we need to invest time to learn a new routine and if that wasn't REALLY needed, it doesn't make us love you.

I get better results from Hunter.io than from some of the expensive databases I use. and I only have a basic account for free. I use it all the time, am pleased with the U.S. business emails I've been able to verify or find.
