I've been using the GPS chips for a few years, and started using the app 2 years ago. The newest update is a big improvement and works very smoothly. I use it a lot for antelope hunting where there's public and private mix and has helped me hunt a few great bucks!

I also really like the new track feature that lets you drop breadcrumbs where you walked, so you can follow them back through sketchy terrain.

I have been using huntinggpsmaps, now onXmaps HUNT mapping software for many years with my laptop, GARMIN GPS and recently with a IPad for hunting research. The key here for all those that venture into the outdoors, is the accuracy of the maps, showing private lands, timber lands, state land, and national lands. One of the keys when in the outdoors is not to trespass. With typical GPS or mapping software, the products as well as maps do not show the many of the 50 acres to 1000+ acres of private land with state or federal lands. This Montana base company is always making improvements and updating their products. On my mobile device, with onXmaps HUNT I have weather and fire condition available for free. Using any other mapping software out there is a waste of money. That is my personnel opinion on the subject.

Onx Maps is the most unique and best option out there for this type of mapping software. So many options for putting Onx to use. Hunting, scouting, backpacking, camping, trail riding, finding public land, knowing boundaries of private land and access to ownership information. Onx and Hunting GPS Maps are at the top of their class and provide tools to make adventures in each state that much sweeter. Love this mapping application!! I have actively used Onx and Hunting GPS maps since their start and they just keep getting better and more innovative. They have fantastic customer service and extremely user friendly. Definitely a product I absolutely and highly recommend.

I don't go into the woods without my OnXMaps app. Its best I've ever used. I always know where property lines and hunts zones are. Its saved me from trespassing on unfenced land a couple of times.

With onXmaps, I've taken my elk hunting to a whole new level while navigating the backcountry. onXmaps takes the guess work out of which path to take through unfamiliar country. Also, by uploading google earth waypoints to my GPS, I can walk right up to the points of interest that I "E-Scouted" during the off season.

I have been using these products since their inception. My business is completely dependent upon the map information provided by onXmaps. Quite simple, "I don't leave home without it."

I was on the fence about purchasing the HUNT app with all of the other free apps out there. I figured they all pretty much did the same thing until someone actually showed me theirs and all of the great features. The ability to see private vs public land, see ownership information on the private parcels, and the fact you are able to use it without getting a cell phone signal are the 3 main features that sold me. I use my HUNT app religiously and can't even remember how I got along without it. By far the best bang for your buck!

OnXMaps has changes the game of mapping technology! I have used this product chasing waterfowl and big game in multiple states and now I will not leave home without it!

onXmaps obviously loves their customers

I am a fairly new user to these products, but I truly can not imagine my outdoor experience without their GPS apps that are available via my phone. It is so handy to not need to carry around multiple devices in order to find my location while outdoors. Great customer service, great products, and great experience overall.

The versatility Team Hunt offers is second to none. The newer mobile App is great to minimize additional gear while still leveraging all of the benefits of a fantastic GPS tool regardless of service availability.

Simply save a custom map, hit the airplane mode and away you go with a fully functioning GPS that allows waypoints, tracking and use of their multiple layer features.

If you prefer the traditional GPS they have the Chip solution for you as well. Pair it with your computer to scout where you are hunting or fishing prior to your trip and take advantage of their consistent chip updates to capture all of the new changes that get released.

I never go on any hunt or hike without my OnXmaps in my pack.
