Order #1000409038 purchased 02/06/2023 4 ton ACIQ Heat Pump. I purchased this unit last year and installed it for the winter of 2023 of which we had a mild winter. But this winter we have a terrible winter with temperature's down to 10 degrees. as I write this review the outside temp. is 15 degrees and I'm sitting in a 72 Degree room and the unit has no electric heating coils. The amps on the unit is 10 . So it costs me about 29 Cents per hour to heat my 2500 square FT. home. thanks again for a Great product Grant Hurd Moneta Va

Self installed on 12/21/24.
The following power bill was $120 less than the same time the previous year, Even with using 2 electric portable heaters for almost 2 weeks.
Loved that shipping was free!

Good service, product arrived in a good shape but the shipping could be a bit faster.

Price was right, delivery was on-time.

Quality product but all parts needed are not in package. Make sure to order additional parts like refrigerant line.

I ordered my system around September.
I finally got around to installing it in November. The 1 1/8 line set I had ordered came with insulation on it so no obvious faults when I stored it. When I rolled it out it was apparent it had multiple kinks in it. I had to go to the local vender to get new line set. I didn’t think HVAC DIRECT would do anything because of the time that had lapsed.
I emailed them and they apologized for the inconvenience and refunded me for the damaged line set. Wow.
Honestly I had my doubts about this company when I order a system from them. I was wrong. They worked very hard to help me. The system is installed and running great. I’m very happy. I would use them again and recommend this company if your a DIY like me. Or even if you pay someone else to install.
I installed and maintained HVAC units at my old job along with many other things.

The item arrived and worked for a day before it began to freeze over. We had to pay both for an electrician and an HVAC mechanic to come service the brand new item. We were told it came without enough refrigerant.

Would have been 5 star but this is the first contact about my order status. It has been almost 30 days since I placed the order.

They claimed to have the heater I wanted in stock and said it would ship in a few days. After 10 days of waiting and still not shipment, I cancelled.

Bottom line, they don't have what they say. It was to come from the manufacturer, who apparently was backordered.

Further, they do not post any negative reviews on their website, so those reviews are totally unreliable!!!

In my original order, I received a condenser that was undersized according to my HVAC installers. When I called HVACDirect, their technical team agreed and started the process for an exchange. I then received a call from Miguel Jusino in the escalation department of customer service. He told me that his counterparts told him that we were trying to get the system we purchased installed before my daughters wedding to accommodate family guest staying at our home (converted garage to a guestroom). Miguel then did everything he could to help us get the condenser exchanged before the wedding. He was very understanding of our situation and extremely helpful.
This is the kind of customer service you wish every company had!

Got it a week before our old furnace went out.

Everything was great. HVAC was the lowest I could find for my replacement of my PTAC. Checkout was easy. Great communication. Shipping speed an delivery service was excellent. I highly recommend HVAC!

Spent 18k on 2 5 ton units. Within 3 months the units went down. I contacted Hvac direct and gave them all the info and paperwork needed for the replacement parts. I got a email from them saying they were turning it over to the claims dept. I didn't hear back for weeks then I reached out. They said they had ordered my parts and they would send me an update. I have reached out again with the same response. I have not had a working AC for 3 months while still paying 18k for 2 units. I have told them I am unhappy and I don't think they care. This started in September and today is Dec 13th and nothing.
