Tiles not same size, unwillingness to address the issue

On their website they show black and white tiles (200mx200m) to create a chequerboard, however you need to buy the black and white tiles separately.
When they arrived the sizes are not the same (off by 1mm+) meaning laying the tiles looks ‘gappy’ and unprofessional.

After contacting the company they quick to point to a small clause in their terms saying tiles can be off my 2% and that their different tiles even though they’re advertising them via images as the same flooring.

They are not being transparent nor willing to compensate for their false advertising.

Be warned you may not get what you have paid for.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

As explained via email, we have been fully transparent throughout this process. The tiles you ordered are two different ranges with different names — not the same tile in two colours. The manufacturer’s image shows them laid together, and as mentioned, they can indeed be installed this way if you choose. We’ve supplied these tiles on many occasions without any issues.

The tiles are not described as rectified, meaning they have a pressed edge. Within the tile industry, slight size variations can occur between production batches, which is entirely normal and within industry tolerances.

It’s also worth noting that throughout our correspondence, your focus has been on seeking compensation. From the very beginning, we have consistently offered a full refund should you wish to return the tiles — an offer that still stands today.

We therefore respectfully disagree with your comments regarding transparency or product quality, but remain happy to arrange a full refund if you would like to return the tiles.

First class product and service.

Great, fast and friendly customer service from this company. Received the advice we needed on all products required for an en suite refit. Delighted with everything we have ordered and top quality. Highly recommend.
