I used this company for the first time for purchasing Harveys block salt. I found them to be THE most efficient yet warm & friendly, they give a personal service like I've not received from any other. They not only call personally to let me know next days delivery, but also call the next day to let me know when the driver is 20 minutes away! Now THAT is what I call giving a service. I was pleasantly surprised to see their own delivery service & not an outside courier. Kevin the driver couldn't be more helpful & friendly. I will always use this company wherever possible & not just for purchasing block salt. As far as I'm concerned they are THE BEST.

For the last few years I have been buying block salt for my water softener from Hydroworks. They are always competitively priced and give a good service. Out of the blue I was offered a free inspection for our Harvey Water softener by Hydroworks and thought OK be prepared for a really hard sell for new water softener.
Not bit of it. This was customer service like no other I have experienced in a long long time. If I could give this review 6 stars I would.
Laurence turned up on time, very smartly dressed, he was extremely polite and oh so helpful. Not only did he thouroughly check out the water softener he explained what he was doing and why. He gave the water softener a clean bill of health and gave us some great tips about future maintinance. He also gave us a free scoup to ensure that we used the correct amount of laundry washing powder. It transpired that we were using far too much. All of this was done "Free of Charge". If ever I need to buy a new water softener Hydroworks will be the first and only company I would call.
In my opinion Hydroworks deliver the ultimate gold standard in customer service.

Highly recommend this company for installation of a water softener. We wanted a one stop shop from a company with a good reputation and plenty of experience and that is exactly what we got. From start to finish we were in the best hands. The communication was faultless and Lawrence and his team are such great guys. If you want a water softener installed you won't be disappointed with Hydroworks.

A God send and no exaggeration!
After being with a big company (Harveys Water Softeners) for over 4 years, I was very much disappointed and let down by their poor workmanship, terrible customer service and exorbitant prices.
I came across Hydroworks when trying to have a water softener installed in my current property. Something that a big company like Harveys should have been able to have managed, but whom seemed incapable or unwilling to do - and so after 6 months of wasting my time I took my business elsewhere and this was how I came across Hydroworks.
Laurence from Hydroworks came out and did a property survey and gave me a quote straightaway. I was so excited and relieved that the company were willing to try and provide me with a solution to my less than straightforward installation. Laurence was very patient and showed a genuine appreciation for my previous experiences and ongoing needs. He took time out to work out a viable solution and went through explaining all aspects in detail to me. I was very reassured and confident that he could make it work. I was provided with a reasonable quote and on the day, Jay came out and undertook the installation in a very timely and professional manner. Jay's knowledge and experience in the field, meant that he was able to turn what was initially going to be a tricky and prolonged installation, into a much simpler and less convoluted process.
A water softener is essential for my family's needs, as we suffer with eczema and have found that without the softener, the flares are very bad and in truth unbearable to live with. I cannot give credence to just how important a water softener is to me and my family and just how much better our lives are now that the softener has been installed. The customer service, from Bradley at Reception, to Laurence and Jay has been the greatest! I would recommend this company to anyone seeking to have a water softener system installed. They are miles apart from the likes of Harveys and have a genuine care for their customers. They are also very economical (so important in the current crisis). I only wish I could have found them sooner, could have saved me a lot of unnecessary costs and headache.

I recently got to know of Hydroworks after looking out of the window and seeing their van. Also after having a nightmare experience with Harvey water softener directly I decided to give them a go.

First the care and service Lawrence administered to us assessing our requirements was second to none. Also their plumbers Dave was exceptional, literally doing the impossible ( Harvey’s plumbers initial assessment) it terms of careful expert fitting of pipe work in what was initially deemed a complicated water set up.

Such a wonderful service by this team overall and very informative and patience by Dan and Harry to ensure all our extensive queries were addressed.

If you want excellent service of fitting of a water softer there is literally no where else you need to look.

The whole installation went very smoothly with minimal disruption. Laurence the Company Director personally provided us with comprehensive and informed advice on the initial visit. Alex the installer was very helpful in accommodating our requests regarding location of the water softener and expertly fitted quite complex pipework without fuss. The water softener is working perfectly and we are very glad we chose Hydroworks for the installation whom we recommend without reservation.

I called on Friday to discuss water softeners and a member of staff called Daniel spent half an hour explaining the ins and outs of different water softeners. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he took the time and trouble to help me understand more about the different models. Excellent example of caring for your customers

We experienced another aspect of Hydroworks today as they moved our existing softener to our new house..

Alex was on time and as usual, was immaculate.. the procedure went like clockwork.. describing to me what he was doing as he went.

We made the short trip to our new home where he explained he had to use additional hoses as our current ones weren’t long enough then finished by disconnecting the water filter we didn’t need (drinking water) as we didn’t use it / one in our previous house.

All in all .. excellent service agayand strongly recommend

Excellent service . Our water softener had a fault which had to be fixed in the workshop. We were given a replacement softener to maintain our softened water. They are a lovely company to deal with .

Very old water filter replaced by a modern unit. Plumber arrived on time and carried out said replacement in an efficient manner. No mess and no fuss. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a water filter fitted by this company, had a free health check on our existing water softener and decided that as they were so transparent and honest as a company that we would go for the additional filter, best thing we ever did, clean tap water as good as bottled water, excellent customer service and follow up care, professional staff, left the place spotless, genuinely put the customer first, will be recommending to all our friends. Didn't know that there was such a local business selling water softner salt. The service was excellent, the price was good and delivered the following day. The customer service was of a very high standard and we will be using them again and letting our family and friends know about them.
