Hygge Pergola Reviews 

Pergola delivery overdue and no contact since ordering. Have chased twice and get the same response that I will hear when it is dispatched. Advisor on the chat option says ‘it is an internal process’ and she has no way of speaking to someone.

Asked to speak to a manger and was told ‘our managers don’t take inbound calls’.

After a little bit of back and forward it was clear that the poor customer service staff member had no more ability to gain clarity on my order than I did, only being able to reassure me that there was an internal process but no, she couldn’t find out any more, or speak to anyone, or give me any other contact details - or anything else at all for that matter.

So it seems that there is little interest in customer service and clarity on order progress once you have paid - a brick wall, and a situation where as a customer, I should be happy with some vague promises of ‘it will be dispatched soon and you will hear more then’.

Businesses earn the right to sales and profit from these through great service - this one doesn’t.

Maybe consider this if about to order with them.

I find the staff extremely helpful and very friendly and the coffee in here is excellent and find the atmosphere very relaxing as it helps my autism and adhd and finally just would like to say thank you to all the fantastic staff at HYGGE WOOD HOUSE LANE LEEDS SHOP. Xx

Ive recently had my Pergola delivered after waiting over a month longer than promised. Im currently waiting for delivery of a Blind that is "In stock" and ordered 5 weeks ago.
I call most days and email and am promised the delivery will be "expedited" still nothing happens!
The phone is only randomly answered the service provided is not fit for prurpose so disappointed.

Great product, good quality and very robust.
Aftersales service was absolutely fantastic, we had a minor issue with the blinds and the company did not hesitate to replace them. You can't ask for better service. Would highly recommend this Company.

Pergola is a great addition to our garden and complements our garden room well.
Quite straightforward to assemble - just make sure you get the slats the right way up - read the instructions carefully.
The "free gifts" of chair and heater took a while to be delivered but got here in the end and are of good quality and worth waiting for

Really, really pleased with our pergola….it looks exactly as we had hoped and is good quality (at a much lower price than similar suppliers). Delivery came earlier than we had been told which was great. Instructions made sense and husband put it up in a day (which you can do if very practical, strong and you have the right tools, but would recommend 2 people).

I ordered a 3x4m Hygge pergola in February this year. The pergola arrived approx 6 weeks later and was installed by our team of experienced landscape gardeners. The 4m and one of the 3m blinds worked perfectly but the 2nd 3m blind would not pull down. After sending numerous videos, reports from the landscapers, photographs, evidence of pergola measurements and e mails I am no nearer to getting the issue resolved. The sales after care and customer service at Hygge is absolutely appalling. The members of staff who answer the phones and reply to the online chat facility are always very pleasant and try to help but they do not have the authority to put things right. When I asked to speak to a member of the management team I was told that the managers do not speak to customers! I have now given up on getting a replacement blind and have contacted my credit card company for a refund of my money. A very frustrating and upsetting experience and I can not recommend this company to other potential customers.

Arrived on time, a lovely piece of kit. Only critique would be better installation instructions looks great but took all day to work it out! Other than that would definitely recommend the product

When I called to inquire about a pergola they were great they answered all my questions and were very professional, I had no hesitation in purchasing one from them I knew it was going to take a while for it to arrive (12/14 weeks) as I was told this but it didn’t matter as I was planning for this summer, when it did arrive my son in-law and I put it up no problem and I’m very pleased with it would definitely recommend Hygge and already have

The quality of the product is excellent. It fits together well though the instructions do need some careful thought at times. There was a delay on delivery but the quality and the use I now get from it far outweigh the wait. I have had this a year now and it's almost like having an additional room! One small observation, it came with lights with lots of lovely colour options but unfortunately doesn't have a bright white option, for me this is not a huge problem as I have a security light I can turn on when I need to increase the light. Defo recommend it if you can afford it!

Ordered a pergola last year and was told we would have to wait 4 months for delivery. It was delivered on time. It was an easy process from start to finish. We had questions before purchasing and customer service was excellent. I have recently been in touch with customer services and could not fault how I have been dealt with. I would definitely recommend this Company. The product is excellent and well made.

We’ve had our pergola for two years or so. It works well and looks great. Hygge are very good an high quality

Full disclosure- the delivery in 2024 was delayed by 4 months (November initially, delivered in February25’ ).
As the pergola was put together by our builders, I cannot comment on the ease of construction. Over a year later, the louvre roof, pulled down side panels and the heating work well. Overall: allow minimum 3 month delay in delivery abd you will be fine.

I was waiting about 4 months for pergola but i could wait even longer because of quality.Look very nice,so happy with it.

We had a problem with a bind after 6 months. They were extremely professional and delt with the problem efficiently.
Replaced with new blind.

Our experience from ordering to final delivery was excellent. Communication from the team was regular and reassuring throughout, and it was always easy to get hold of someone when needed.
We had a local builder construct the pergola, and it looks fantastic — we’ve really enjoyed the space and are so pleased with the end result.

The process from ordering to delivery was faultless, there is a long lead time but it is clear from the start that this is the case.
The product is great, quality is fantastic, it is easy to assemble but make sure you read the instructions and the price point is more than competitive against similar products from alternative suppliers.
I shopped around and found a great product at a fraction of some of the other suppliers prices 👍🏻

We had our pergola for a while now where delivery was long time to wait and we did have delay and a couple of parts missing overall we are very happy with our pergola it’s one of the best additions to our garden

The company had a few issues with delivery but once sorted I must say I am highly impressed with the pergola and all my friends and family are impressed with the was it looks so I would definitely recommend Hygge if you are thinking of getting a pergolayou won't be disappointed

Had it now for about 15 months. Quality is superb and it still looks as new. Communications before and after delivery were spot on.
