Hyperbeam is a great, legitimate, site for watching movies or shows with friends. It has a great proxy that enables streaming major sites through it such as Disney
plus, Netflix etc. It works amazingly well and I have had many fun times using this amazing site.

probably the best rabb.it alternative. if all youre looking for is to watch movies with someone else, this is all you'll need. there's a built in voice chat so no need to have discord open at the same time for lower end pc's. the only issue ive had is there's no compatibility with netflix or hulu. id suggest finding an alternative website to watch movies. there's also a super good adblock built in, youll get practically 0 ads on this app.

Hyperbeam is not safe. Claims that the rooms are VM's and preach about their safety whilst this is very much false.

Ran it recently and it tried to run data from other sites I didn't even access through my computer.

You can also test this yourself by using an antivirus that automatically blocks trackers. It will alert you of the occurence straight away. This particularly occurence happened on a streaming site.

VMs do not typically run data through the host PC when you run them, making this rather unsafe.

Either it was never safe or there was a breach recently [which would explain the network issues]

Very disappointing.

Edit: Scanned my PC with an antivirus afterwards too and detected Heuristic malware [overrides the function of a file on your PC to turn it into malware], this is really bad, fix your app.

HyperBeam is the best website for watch parties! I’ve tried screen sharing on Discord (lags), & other watch party websites, and to me, none of them are better than HyperBeam.

6 hour rooms, little to no lag/buffer, easy-to-use layout, chatting area for text and audio/video calling– not only does it has about everything you’d need, but it all works smoothly. Highly recommended!

awesome epic streaming service i use it nearly daily with my friends. admins are super cool too theyre super helpful and smart and know a ton of things about latency and stuff i dont even know what those words mean. i love u guys keep up the good work

Hyberbeam is great! Well, that is other than the fact that most of the times that i try to use it, it says there is a server problem or something. I try to ask for help but I usually don't get it. I would love if that was fixed. But altogether my freinds and I love it. It is so entertaining!!

they need to allow gaming on it and more time without upgrading and having to invite a friend

It's a reliable service that has given me and my friends countless hours of entertainment, movie and game nights have been made much easier with hyperbeam as a platform. Similarly, it's nice to have your moderators be able to open your room when you're running late for the movie night as well.

Hyperbeam is honestly the best platform I came across after looking at so many others. It was Tutturu when I discovered it. Its simple to use, it has a familiar and comfortable feel to it because of the layout and color, and it offers a lot to its community.

I've been following the development of Hyperbeam since sometime close to its initial release. I've been in long distance relationships for the majority of the past 8 years, and a way i'd often spend time with my loved ones was through shared desktops. When my previous preferred service was shut down a few years back, nothing else quite matched the experience. Hyperbeam's team has been consistently receptive to feedback and quick to respond when me or my friends and partners have had technical issues. It's difficult to ask more from a company than an attentive team passionate about what they do. I use the website weekly, if not sometimes daily, as it allows me to stay close with my friends halfway across the world.

I have friends in the UK and I'm in america so it's really hard to watch tvs/ movies with them considering we all have really bad pcs, Hyperbeam solved our problems with long distance friendships with the ability to access one tab with everybody able to control it. I had a hard time finding a website that suited my needs and Hyperbeam fit it perfectly! I can now watch animes/movies with my homies thanks to this trusty website!

Overall a great way to connect long-distance with friends/family to watch movies/shows together. The addition of a proxy also allows access to region-restricted streaming sites (Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) to enhance watching experience.
