ibl.ai is an Agentic AI Operating System that institutions and companies run inside their own environment and own outright. Ask any AI vendor one question: if you ended the contract tomorrow, what keeps running? With ibl.ai the answer is everything, because you hold the full source code under a perpetual license and the data never leaves your perimeter. Agents connect to the systems you already run (SIS, LMS, CRM, ERP, HRIS), act under the permissions your identity system already enforces, and run with a sandbox attached, where they write and execute code against data that would never fit in a context window. Choice of model, including open-weight models you host yourself, audit logs kept in your own systems and a no-training guarantee come with it; we treat those as the minimum, not the pitch. Enterprise engagements are one-time, not subscriptions, and there are no per-seat fees: after deployment, your recurring cost is your own model provider and infrastructure. Syracuse University owns the source code, runs it on its own Google Cloud and runs it alongside the other AI tools it approves; it is the one Syracuse owns outright. Read it on their site: ai.syracuse.edu/stories/ibl-google-cloud.html. ibl.ai is family owned, New York, no venture capital. Our engineers build alongside your team and leave the code with you. 1.6M+ users across 400+ organizations in higher education, K-12, enterprise, government, legal, financial services and healthcare. SOC 2 Type II certified.

We gave ibl.ai genuinely had problems

We brought ibl.ai genuinely hard problems, and the answer was never 'no' — it was 'let us figure it out,' and they did, every time. No request was too complex, no challenge ever met with 'that's not possible' — the hardest things we put in front of them were the ones they solved best.

Add a flexible, model-agnostic platform backed by a team genuinely on the leading edge of AI, and you have a partner, not a vendor. That's real partnership.

A Trusted AI Engineering Partner for the DIB

The work by ibl.ai supporting an advanced manufacturing initiative for the Defense Industrial Base demonstrated what a true AI mission partner should look like.

Rather than focusing on technology alone, they viewed every challenge through the lens of the mission ecosystem, challenged our assumptions, and expanded our thinking about what was possible.

Their ability to integrate mission objectives, organizational realities, and compliance by design into every solution consistently produced innovative capabilities that exceeded our expectations.

The engineering partner you want when the mission can't slip!

Spent years at Comtech building and fielding communications systems for government and defense customers. In that world, a vendor's slide deck means nothing. What matters is whether their engineers show up, understand the mission, and deliver in the environment you actually have. ibl.ai does exactly that.

Two things set them apart. The first is ownership. Their model puts the full source code and the data in the customer's hands and runs on the customer's own infrastructure, whether that's a government cloud, on-premises, or a fully disconnected network. For programs with strict security and compliance requirements, that isn't a nice-to-have; it's the price of entry. You aren't renting a black box that a vendor can change or take away. You own the system and can inspect, extend, and operate it yourself.

The second is their engineers. They work the way great forward-deployed teams should: they embed with your people, learn your constraints and your systems, and take ownership of the result instead of sending tickets back over the wall. They're candid about what will and won't work; they move fast without cutting corners on security, and they document everything so your team can take it over. Their technical support is responsive and senior, and when something breaks at 2 a.m., the person on the call actually knows the code.

For any agency or contractor that needs government-scale capability without vendor lock-in, I'd put ibl.ai at the top of the list.

No More Flakey AI Cons

After deep‑dive diligence into more than fifty AI edtech companies, one fact is clear: ibl.ai stands alone. This is a family business built on nobility, morality, respect, and hard work — and in a Wild West AI marketplace where schools and companies are losing real money on the wrong partners, character matters as much as technology.

MKC Advisor has lost hundreds of thousands on flaky AI firms. With ibl.ai, that era is over. Their team builds with you, their platform runs inside your own environment, and their integrity shows up in every interaction.

We now build only with ibl.ai because we have not found a better group of human beings — and in the long run, that is what wins.
