CAUTION: SCAM

CAUTION: The International Council of Peace and Security (ICPS) is one of many attempted scams by Doğukan Ejder, a failson from Istanbul, Turkey, and not, as the organisation claims, a non-profit based out of Geneva, Switzerland. It operates exactly like Ejder's previous scam, Arcadia: it attempts to attract volunteers by claiming to be a non-profit registered in Geneva (when in fact there is no evidence of its registration anywhere in the Canton) with particular expertise in scholarly publishing within a specific niche (in this case, of impartial, non-partisan political scholarship where Arcadia previously claimed arts and cultural scholarship, in both cases with no evidence of any sort of scholarly experience, affiliations or standards). The organisation then offers no useful experience, and instead works its way up into asking or demanding that volunteers pay a contribution or else some sort of contractual free or penalty into a Swiss business account that looks suspiciously like, and in fact *is*, a Turkish personal account (registered to Doğukan Ejder in Istanbul, Turkey). Fortunately, it is possible to keep avoiding and reporting Ejder's assorted scams to the authorities for fraudulent practices (beginning with the Swiss Ministère public, Fedpol, and others with the ability to prosecute fraud, including online scams, in or extending into Switzerland).

A rebranded scam Arcadia > ICPS

I recently had a call with an organization called ICPS (icps.ch), which presents itself as an international nonprofit. The name sounds official—almost like a UN-affiliated body—but that’s where the illusion ends.

During the call, I was asked to pay to "join" or "work" with them. When I asked about their affiliations or actual impact, the HR representative was vague and unprepared. They couldn’t provide any evidence of any affiliation. I asked her, Are you affiliated with the UN?" She said, I believe so. When I mentioned there’s no mention of them on any UN website, she nervously said, "Maybe they haven’t posted it yet."

- Red flags everywhere:
- No documented projects or verified partnerships
- Website is hosted on Wix with generic content and no transparency
- No Affiliation
- No terms
- No plans
- Asking to pay a membership fee for what ?
- No legal or financial information available

After some research, I found the founder is Doğukan Ejder , the same individual behind a previously exposed organization called Arcadia ( Check reddit). This appears to be the same scheme under a different name.

🚩 Asking people to pay for job opportunities
🚩 No proof of legitimacy or social impact
🚩 Misleading claims of global affiliation
