Wanted to get a student discount on something, didn’t have any Canadian universities available to enroll in. The website feels put together by bits and scraps just to convince people to put their email and information into a database. Tried to let them know they were missing universities and ended up waiting 40+ minutes waiting for somebody to show up other than their ai chatbot.

The chatbot told me:

“If your college or university isn’t listed, you should select the school that most closely matches the name of the school you attend, provide your personal information, and then upload your documents.” Etc. Which is ridiculous.

It was a user friendly site and easy to use, as it guides you through every step. I signed up on my iphone and from beginning to end I could accomplish what I needed to: sign up for Medicare plan A&B. It connected well and I had no issues. Got it done first time around :)

Worst company ever the refuse to fix there app and website I really do need to have this work as it's required by my job and now I might lose my new job interview because you retared refuse to fix it .

My s24 plus front camera doesn't work 98% of the time, ID.me would not accept a previously saved photo of my ID. It would not accept a photo I took with my son's phone and texted to myself... I missed out on a month of unemployment benefits because ID.me wouldnt accept my photos of my ID (even though I had an existing account - this was not a new account set up with ID.me).
I dont know exact date. Sometime in March or April. Today 5/18 is first my camera has worked and I was able to successfully upload my ID photos.

My address as per the post office is 29-612 ... My bank statement designates it as 612 ... Suite 29. After waiting 3 HOURS for the video call for verification (it was supposed to be 57 minutes when I first logged in) - 2 minutes before I was supposed to go Live, they INVALIDATED my bank document and kicked me out of the queue completely. An issue that could have been remedied in 30 seconds on video chat just wasted 3+ hours of my life. Utterly appalling.

Made setting up an account quick, easy and painless. Was concerned as I’m not as quick on things as the younger generation but was able to set it up with zero problems. Appreciate their attention to security.

The site information and directions were clear and concise. The digital resolution of the site upload was tedious, it took multiple uploads to get the site to except the photos of the needed documents. My phone has one of the latest and clear versions of a camera. The site kept responding unable to verify.

I Learned Through The Steps, And Will continue to show my support especially being a satisfied customer.

Once I was able to connect, I was OK. Had no idea id.me wasn't part of the government and would have been more leery if I'd known. Screens often not self explantory. For example, when prompted for phone number, there was an icon for a flag but no drop-down arrow to indicate this was to be clicked to get company code for country - finally figure out, but hi anxiety not knowing, just having to push a button and try.

Don't really understand what this company is or what it does. Don't know why used to contact IRS or SSA? If private, why am I having to use a non-govt org to log in?

Very confusing.

It was easy to follow directions to establish ID with the site which subsequently allowed me to log-in to the website and access data needed.

I am very phone and computer illiterate, this site offered easy step by step instructions. When my things didn't take it explained what I did wrong and retired and worked fine. I am happy with real id

Any discount is good, but some could be greater. I always look here for some savings. This time, I received cash back, which isn't great, but I’ll use it for sure.

It was fast and professional I didn't have to wait it's a 5 star rating I never use I'd me until now I have to say it's amazing every one needs to start doing this using id me it's a beautiful thing thank you for everything and have a blessed wonderful safe day

I would look elsewhere.
If you're looking for protection there are far better options out there. ID.me was "given" to me as part of a data breach settlement and it was completely worthless. I had another company telling me where my PID had been used/stolen and what to do about it all-the-while ID.me's emails to me said that everything was just fine. Just don't bother with ID.me.

We've all experienced frustration with setting up a passkey online, but ID.me really surprised me. The process is (unavoidably) long, & you need a good internet connection. But the process is well-designed, all steps are very clear, and I succeeded on the first try -- and I'm 82! Even uploading my driver's license image and a selfie worked smoothly. I'm impressed.

Truly appreciate we are moving towards automation, face recognition, etc., I was impressed :)

The only way to contact this business is on-line. They offer no phone service to the customers who may not know to complete the steps that they require. Their representatives on-line are very rude, and are not helpful with solving issues with this business. I would highly encourage all people to email their Senators, Congressmen, and Federal Agencies along with all State Agencies to not allow this company access to any citizens personal information. I do not believe that this is an honorable business, and any time that you contact them, the only person that you talk to is an A.I. Robot, and the A.I. Robot is about as helpful as a " Special Needs " Robot. Please, stay away from this business.

My experience creating a username and password, uploading my drivers license and submitting a selfie video was extremely easy. With the multiple steps of security I feel as if I can trust getting access to my social security information more so than I did before.
