Ideal school, Brian and Louise have made it so much easier to study and get my qualifications than any other online study i have tried in the past. Friendly and helpful, funny and encouraging! just what you need with an intensive course like ICB level 4!!!

I received exceptional support from my tutor, Nicky, for my Payroll course level 3. The course materials are thoughtfully structured to prepare one for the examination, and their clear organization into manageable sections made them very easy to comprehend. The administrative team was equally helpful, consistently available by phone or email, whether I needed assistance with software passwords or exam registration; they demonstrated great patience with me. I would certainly recommend this program.

I felt supported, not made to feel silly when I asked very basic questions at the start, and the response time for marking assignments was so fast! These lovely tutors seem to work 24 hours a day!

Excellent training provider. I have just completed ICB level 3 and the course material was both comprehensive and easy to follow. The mock exams helped me enormously in terms of feeling comfortable sitting the actual ICB exams. Lastly but certainly not least a massive thank you to Brian and Scot who were always available for support and guidance.

Would highly recommend ideal schools, materials provided for the payroll course were great, the tutor rang back very quickly to offer support and was very helpful and all the staff at Ideal Schools were very friendly and helpful, can't fault it and I passed my course first time.

I would highly recommend Ideal Schools to anyone thinking about studying bookkeeping/accountancy. The tutors are fantastic, I mainly dealt with Scot and Brian, (lovely guys) its lovely knowing I can pick the phone up and ask a question whenever I need to, it makes it a more personable, experience. I found the course work better than my previous course provider, easy to understand and lots of mock exams which made me confident sitting the main exams. I recently passed level 3 with a distinction and will continue with Ideal Schools through level 4. Thanks to everyone at Ideal!!!!

Great learning materials, support available when you need it. No pushy sales.

I was nervous about the isolation of home study but with working simultaneously it was the only option for me to be able to advance my skills. Ideal Schools have made this possible. They are always contactable, always helpful. The tutors are always fast to respond and they always give explanations when marking assignment's so that you can really home in on where you need to improve. I looked at several organisations when taking this leap. Ideal Schools do not over charge you, are the best value for money, there course work is explained clearly and they are incredibly supportive. It was the best decision I made joining them.

I completed my Level 3 Bookkeeping and Accounts qualification through Ideal Schools, having started it with a previous provider where I had endless issues. Ideal Schools had great deals and payment options including paying for all mocks and exams, monthly, so I knew I didn't have to come up with hundreds of pounds when I wanted to sit exams. It takes the extra stress out of exams! My tutor, Scot van den Akker, was very quick to check and reply to any assignment, questions I emailed and mock exams I completed. For me, being able to phone and speak to someone also helped enormously. I invariably got Brian McVean who is brilliant at explaining and is encouraging.

I started studying with Ideal Schools in January and yesterday I successfully passed my Level 3 qualification, having already completed Level 2 achieving Distinction with Honours in both levels

After taking the time to find a trusted AAT L3 provider I was hesitant at first this being my first experience of home study using mostly paper material.
I thought that the material was in depth and useful but I felt as if it lacked the tutor support and feedback that I was looking for.
The tutor marked questions felt like you sent them off for a tutor to simple give you a mark back and maybe put the correct answer. If I got a questions wrong, I was simply asked to re-do with no guidance on where I went wrong which was frustrating and didn't help me understand the reasoning behind the incorrect answer.
The tutor unfortunately did not provide much help and I often found myself googling or giving up with asking for guidance. It would probably be more useful to have a mark sheet and workings to explain the step by step than waiting a few days to receive a mark for your progress tests.
Overall, the material was in depth and I found the exam question book very useful.
I would be more inclined to recommend Ideal Schools if the tutor support was improved.

Tutor support is friendly and non judgmental. Allows you to study in your own time as they are generous with timescales. Ideal for someone with exam anxiety who needs to feel 100% ready before they attempt it. Two AAT assessments so far with over 90% scores.
