Don't bother

I received free "protection" due to a data breach. I had an existing account and I cannot update my subscription to reflect this other than by paying for it with a CC. When I clicked on the email link it went to a 404. Needless to say I'm not going to trust a company to protect me if they can't keep their main contact link on their home page up to date.

1 year free from data breach

I received 1 year free monitoring due the the Change Healthcare breach. I tried to sign up on the IDX website. I got a generic error that said to contact Support. I called their Support number. I was connected to someone with a very heavy accent over a very poor voice connection. It took a great deal of patience to explain the problem, to which his response was "send Support an email". I have done so, 3 times over the last 3 weeks. Not a single response. I do get several IDX marketing emails a day, so their email is functional. This company is a complete joke. Do not waste your time.

Useless

Useless
I received a Notice of Data Breach from Change Healthcare. They offered credit and identity monitoring from IDX. I called IDX to set up the service and was told my email address was already being used during the initial setup, therefore, I could not set up the service. I have diligently used the same email for 10+yrs. Did GMAIL allow someone else to use my exact email address??? After attempting to set up the account through the provided links on the phone, I was eventually instructed to send an email to product support, and they would contact me immediately and provide my credentials. Days went by and they did not follow up. I called the initial dept again to inform them I had not been contacted, they attempted to try the same steps and send a link...When I said I had tried those steps many times already, the call was lost and I did not hear back. Meanwhile, I have received several marketing emails from them...USELESS.

Utterly USELESS!

IDX is a completely useless service. I only used it because their client, Mapfre Insurance, negligently allowed the personal information 10's of 1000's of Massachusetts drivers to be taken.
6 months of IDX's useless service was their solution to the most egregious case of data security negligence in state history.
Well, thanks to Mapfre Insurance, many of us have had our identity stolen and thieves are draining bank accounts.
In the two weeks since, I have not able to speak with anyone from IDX, as they don't answer the phone, and the ONLY assistance they offered was an email link with instructions for contacting all the credit reporting agencies, something which I had already done.
If you are paying for their service, you are literally throwing your money away, they don't do anything,

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. Enrolling was a challenge and after that tortuous process was done, I immediately noticed that there was a fundamental error that would prevent them from actually providing the service I enrolled in. I reached out to them immediately and was told they would respond in 24 hours. It's four days later - my subscription clock is ticking - and I have yet to hear back. So I called, which lead me to an email. Great. It's really just awful. Shame on Change Healthcare for "addressing" their colossal data breach with a company that has such dreadful customer service. It reflects poorly on them too.

Two Weeks, No Answer To Email, 8 Canned Excuses

I am in week two of waiting for an email response to why account activation fails. So far, have been given 8 different canned reasons why this is not working, all ending with you need to get support. I now have three open support tickets, and not one answer back from a human. All canned boilerplate responses. On top of all this, they have the audacity to send me a canned email claiming what a good job they do! I am totally disgusted. I did not ask for the data breach that sent me here as a consolation prize. I am totally unimpressed, and the data breach info can not be monitored, if they can not even get the account to work correctly. At one point, one of the excuses was for me to go to TransUnion and fix everything there. There were no problems there for me to fix! I looked at the Better Business Bureau rating for IDX, and the BBB rates them as F. This is for ZEROFOX the parent company of IDX : ZeroFOX Company has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This rating is due to a lack of responsiveness to consumer complaints, with 27 complaints received by the BBB in 2018, all of which remained unanswered. Additionally, the company has received over 4,800 inquiries and nine one-star reviews from customers detailing their negative experiences.

unknowledgeable agent (representative)

I called customer service and asked if they monitor dark web. The agent kept asking me for a security code which I do not have. She could not verify my account with any other information including name, address, phone number, etc. After about 20 minutes of putting me on and off the hold she stated that I need to look at IDX website as this is a general information. I have asked if this is a general information she should be able to provide an answer to my question. To that she replied that she cannot verify my account and therefore she cannot answer my question. I wanted to escalate the call, but she could not do that either because she could not verify my account. I sincerely hope that all IDX agents are not that ignorant and/or unhelpful.

Unresponsive customer support

Multiple attempts to contact their customer support go unanswered. I have been unable to fully activate my account. They even email a link to submit reviews but over multiple months their 'review' site fails to accept unfavorable reviews siteing a highly questionable technical reason on their end.

Encountered errors registering account

Encountered errors registering account. Left support ticket/feedback about this. I was able to resolve the registration issue by navigating the website in a very particular way. I found most of the signup process non-intuitive.
They responded 6 days later with a non-responsive canned response. The response came from a non-descript email address and had very little in the email to indicate who it was from. I almost sent it to spam as the usual identifying information was unfamiliar to me (e.g. domain name, company header, sign off)
Received free year of service as part of a company breach event. Will definitely not be renewing.

Not impressed so far..

So far ID access provided very little information.
I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt so far I doubt they're really providing any services when I finally got verified logs in and have my account up and running, all I can see you on their website or tabs that say basically, okay or not okay, for things like is the password I'm using for the site safe. This is not what I expect from a credit protection service...

I would appreciate it if someone from IDX would contact me just tell me what's going on and what they're supposed to be doing.... Will provide more feedback here if someone does take the time to get in touch with me and provide the information I need.
