This is a review of ifolor's extension for the macOS Photos app used to create projects within macOS Photos and send to ifolor for printing.
It's not a good extension, page layout cannot be changed, cannot add text to photos. The book's layout is how it comes, like it or not.
My photos have lots of meta data (description etc.) yet the extension does not allow any of this to be used in the photo book.

I tested several online 'photo books platform' like iFolor, Cewe, Flexilivre, Blurb, FujiLivre, Smartphoto, Spector.
The best quality to me for a photo book with coated paper (papier couché in French) is iFolor, Cewe & Flexilivre.
Why I selected iFolor ? because the book cover provided by Cewe is not that good and gives a very cheap 'look & feel'; Flexilivre gives a very interesting choice for the cover but their software is outdated and does not give many choice to customize the photo book; ... and then, iFolor: the cover is (to me) better than Cewe but there is a limited choice between the covers and they should gives the opportunity to choose like they do at Flexilivre.
But what they should do, first of all, is seriously IMPROVE THE PACKAGING: the photo book I ordered was a bit damaged because it simply added in box without any additional protection like the one with air bubbles they should use, at least. It is very a pity because the "inside" photobook is of very good quality. I planned to order several photo books but now ... I do not know. I mentioned it to their Customer Service, mentioning what they could improve. They kindly answered ... but nothing about the damage: when it was 'Apple photo book', they directly reimburse the photo book as a commercial action, which is not what I expected but at least take the remark regarding the damage and the poor quality of packaging into consideration.
Used this company many times using the ifolor app for my iMac . Easy software to use and making whatever you want is a breeze. Quality is good and delivery is amazing coming from Germany in days after sending the order via internet.
Been using for years now and will continue to use as software is so easy, with clever use of your photos and changing and resizing is easy. Have tried lots of software and this is certainly the best for Macs and probably good for iPhones as well. Would recommend this company.
