I can't rate Igloo highly enough

I can't rate Igloo highly enough. Aside from offering great value, Cerys (in the metering team) worked tirelessly to sort out a smart meter issue that had been left by my previous supplier. I'm not sure whether the comparison sites offer an automatic switch to igloo, but uncheck that option and you'll see they come out top of the list for value with no exit penalty. And I can absolutely vouch for their serice levels. Thank you Cerys and the rest of the Igloo team!

Just to let you know, it can take up to 6 weeks for your final bill and refund to be actioned as per OFGEM regulations, although we do aim to get these out to you before this deadline. I can see you switched away from our supply on the 24th of July, so we're still within the appropriate timescales to have this completed for you.

I decided to have smart meters fitted, the work was done quite promptly and I have now had my first bill. Everything went very smoothly.

So far very positive

So far very positive. App is very good and on one occasion I had to clarify something with them I got through to a real person very quickly and they resolved my query there and then.

Problem resolved

I've just changed to Igloo when they wanted a meter reading. I cannot reach my meters and explained all to them, when they resolved the problem very professionally with no hassle and to both our saitsfaction.

Switching frustrations

The Igloo team assisted as much as possible to convince my previous suppliers their actions were incorrect and tardy during the recent switch in energy providers.
I found the process very frustrating particularly as I, the customer, was left to do much of the legwork when a less than cooperative customer service team failed in their duties.

Smooth switch.

Unfortunately the cheaper price, reason for my switch, didn't last adue to increase in global gas prices! I think it is still marginally cheaper than competitors but will have to keep an eye on monthly charge as it a variable tariff. I usually go for Fixed rate tariffs.
Not sure how much is green energy. There are providers who would suit needs better if you want to maximise having green energy.
