We had a really fun week at the Hotel…

We had a really fun week at the Hotel l'Hermine last April. Staff were so welcoming - fun yet professional. The food was great and the chef was really understanding of my very fussy 8 year old! The rooms were lovely - clean, comfortable and a good size for 2 aduts and 2 children. The hotel location was perfect for the town and close to lifts for end of season choice. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub and the hotel was a perfect fit for all of us. We have just booked for next year!

Not recommended

Having been a repeat customer I was excited for my trip with igoski this year. Unfortunately due to their conduct this year I will not use them again.

Basic food safety standards were not maintained in our chalet. There was no hand soap in the kitchen or staff toilet, open tin cans were stored in the fridge and food was left out overnight.

Unsurprisingly, as a result 10 of the 14 guests in our chalet fell ill, with symptoms starting 4 hours after eating an off-menu chicken tagine two days into our stay. Two independent general practitioners, seen on the onset of symptoms determined this was most likely food poisoning.

We experienced serve gastrointestinal symptoms. The company insisted it was norovirus caught during our journey to resort. Ignoring that those infected had traveled from three different locations and those that didn’t eat the chicken tagine in the chalet were not ill.

I stayed with Alpine Elements (who are iGOSKI) - GREAT TIME HAD!

I stayed with Alpine Elements (who are iGOSKI) in August last summer. I came across this review site because its hard not to! But seems unfairly weighted. Alpine (And iGO) are a great company and one of the few ski and active holiday companies who still seem to really care and remain a small-ish, medium size (not too small i guess) for you to know you will be treated well. I hate seeing people use these forums to complain, especially when we had sucgh a great holiday with such welcoming and honest people serving us. Why kick the travel industry even more since covid? These guys have had a tough time but they are still goimng and remarkably well i think!.

My flights to Geneva were cancelled by BA and so we would miss our transfers. Igoski were quick to sort it out and we are all looking forward to skiing again in January

I was due to travel to Morzine in March…

I was due to travel to Morzine in March and it was cancelled 2-days before due to Coronavirus. Obviously we were disappointed but accepted that it was out of the control of Alpine Elements - what is not out of their control however is their refusal to provide a refund to their clients.
I have patiently waited 3-months as I fully appreciated the scale of the problem facing them but I am still waiting and being told that I could be waiting up until January 2021 - this is completely unacceptable and contravenes every consumer right. They claim that they are struggling to recover their money from the hotel but they are still advertising the hotel on their website so it begs the question as to why they are still trading with this hotel if they cannot be trusted to refund them? I highly advise you to avoid this company

We had a great time at this resort

We had a great time at this resort. The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly, efficient and helpful.The food was very good, the menu varied and including a vegetarian option. We hired skies and boots through iGOSKI and were pleased with both quality and service, they arranged storage so that we didn't have to walk back to the hotel in ski boots.

Good company, will use them again next year.

Good company. Reasonably priced and easy to book. They answered all my questions instantly over the phone. Also had a call from their rep before departure to confirm everything. The chalet was lovely and they worked really hard to ensure everyone had a good time. I would definitely recommend this company and will book with them again. I only have two small suggestions to improve for next year; Slightly better organisation on arrival at Geneva, to ensure we're not waiting for people who are already there. Also, if the chef is experienced, let him (or her) choose the menu and ingredients to give a bit more variety. These are both very minor points - the food was generally quite good, and we had a great time! Would definitely recommend the chalet experience, and Chalet Flo.

Lovely little chalet with good…

Lovely little chalet with good facilities, the staff were great as was the food. Rooms were compact but perfectly clean and fine for a short ski break!
