I phoned ii to link my account with my Joint account and Leah was very courteous and helpful and helped me to sort out our joint linked accounts
i wanted to manage my wife's investment ( with her permission off-course as she doesn't want the hassle).
Spoke to Sohail who was very helpful and informative in advising that i need to complete a letter of authority that he was forwarding me.
******** WARNING. RED FLAG ***********
YOUR MONEY IS SERIOUSLY AT RISK WITH THIS COMPANY.
I change my address and they block my account.
The reason "to protect my assets"
For over a week to date I cannot buy or sell - how this protects my financial position ? - you explain.
If the market crashes I cannot get out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE !!
I get my driving licence changed and now it will take up to 5 days more to process.
So they suspend it immediately unsuspend it when they get round to it.
RED FLAG You are warned. Do not put your money or investments with thee people !!!!!
I called to rectify the address issue, they ask also sorts of identity questions AND apply a two factor verification.
Does this help ? No. The change of address is suspicious, questionable, whatever ...
So I made a formal complaint.
Now get this ...
Apparently they have replied to this complaint in writing - unbelievably - by sending a private letter* to the very same address they think is suspicious and warrants blocking my account for two weeks or more.
* (this is before i could send the necessary verification documentary evidence)
How more screwed up could these people be ? This is gross incompetence and some.
Remember, these fools say this is to protect my assets
1. my assets are wholly at risk as i cannot access or trade anything
2. they have sent a letter detailing my private details and account and identity to an address they consider at risk.
WARNING !!!!!!! Do not put your money with thee people. If the market crashes you won't be able ell. If the market goes up you won't be able to buy.
They don't care. They take their commission of £19.99 a trade and screw you the customer. It's not their money is it. So they don't care.
DO NOT SAY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TOLD.
I spoke with Casey about a login issue that had cropped up since my joint account had reverted to one in just my own name and she sorted it out for me. Very professional and a pleasant to talk to.
Dealt with Kieran on the phone this morning - very helpful, efficient and on the on the ball. Great customer service!
Spoke with Maddie Collins who was very helpful to get me on track with my account for investing
