Extra cost not made clear

Bought a cardigan for £397 and got a message that a further £129 is due on delivery and if I refuse to pay it the item gets returned and NO refund is given (according to their website). Can’t believe it. Can’t afford to pay the £129.
Never made clear at checkout although is in their FAQ.
Contact by customer services -say they will refund minus shipping fees back to them and an admin fee!
Will not buy direct from this site again- obviously.
