Nightmare to flush

This is the worst toilet pan I have ever used. I got the rimless wall hung one and 95% of the water flushes only at tge back. Absolute nightmare if you plan to poop in it. Get ready for at least 2-3 flushes each time!

Rubbish product terrible non existent after service

Imex smart toilet.
Total waste of money. It’s clunky, makes noises during night and other issues,not fit for purpose in my opinion. The wash programme has not worked properly since installation and many months of to and fro communication with imex has only resulted in excuse after excuse of no remedial action of any kind. Do not buy this product,

Imex Smart toilet - total waste of money

This was sold as a smart toilet, so I assumed it had a heated seat. It doesn't. We have a horribly cold bathroom and the loo seat is glacial. Nothing I can do about it, my mistake, I did not specifically check this feature. It has a pre-wetting function which is overactive (pre-wets whenever you go near the toilet, unless you shut the seat). On top of this, the pre-wetting jet goes straight into the water in the bowl - not useful, just a waste of water. We've simply switched the whole thing off. It doesn't even work well as an ordinary WC - we have to use the loo brush to help it clean. Waste of £3000 - I've never been so disappointed with a product.

Two and a half years ago my wife and I…

Two and a half years ago my wife and I ( now 82 and 85) decided to invest in a Japanese Imex Ceramic toilet installed at around £3.5k. Initially we were very pleased. Some niggling issues were resolved via telephone. However recently the toilet had developed some more serious problems. A permanent leak, non-functioning male wash and an ineffective descaling cycle. I asked for a visit by a service engineer to assess the problems. After a number of conversations and delays I finally received an email offering a solution at a cost of just over £1300 - no visual assessment and no offer of a Service Engineer. A bit steep and uncaring!
We will get a plumber to sort out the leak and live with a defective toilet!
We wish we had not embarked on the purchase!

Superb customer service

I had a few cracked toilet seat buffers and contacted the after sales team for advice. Matt responded very quickly and offered a couple of solutions. He was courteous and professional in all of our communications - a credit to the company. He should be cloned!

I had a bathroom refurb done across two…

I had a bathroom refurb done across two bathrooms in my house which was completed January 2024. Since then the shower kit (knobs etc) have tarnished (they are brushed brass) even though I have gently wiped down with a soft microfibre cloth after every shower. The company have blamed it on the water softener which I put in specifically to avoid limescale damage. Then in the guest bathroom the round sink developed a crack, we barely ever use this sink and 100% have not dropped anything on it. I'm not really impressed, especially a sink breaking after a year. I am now fitting out my ground floor bathroom and will be avoiding this company as it is already costing me plumber fees to change out those fittings.

Avoid

Summer of last year (2022) had a complete bungalow refurb, undertaken by a local and reputable developer. Shortly after installation a small hairline crack was discovered on the base of the bath. This is not the first bathroom that the developer has installed. I have dealt with a representative of the company by the name of Martin Salvador. He has done a very good job of attempting to avoid the issue and continually asked questions I cannot answer. I obtained a quote to have crack repaired and after some haggling managed to get the quote reduced. The crack has been repaired at my expense. Mr Salvador assured me before Christmas that the situation was near to resolution. I had my last telecon with Mr Salvador on the 10th February 2023, when he requested more information…..unbelievable. Avoid this company if you value good old fashioned customer service…

Poor quality products also Pura manufacturer

Poor quality workmanship from the company blamed on the installer. Parts missing from the factory build of the valve and the company totally deny the it being there problem. This is a pura product so hard to find the manufacturer. 8 call backs not done with the manager always in a meeting apparently she must have been really busy for the last 3 weeks

Great after care

After a few fitting issues, the team responded with great care and attention to ensure everything was resolved. The IMEX automatic toilet is a great piece of kit and great to know the after-service provided by Jode and the team was spot on.

IMEX Grace Toilet Seat

Product - IMEX Grace Toilet SEAT - Now on my 3rd toilet seat (across 2 bathrooms) as the slow close hinge fails quickly (3-6 months) followed by the plastic around the hinges cracking and falling apart. To be honest the first seats last just past the warranty period so IMEX were not interested in helping so I sourced 2 new seats from QS Supplies as they were the cheapest. To be fair QS replaced the first seats from them, no questions asked, however, the second time not so good service. Apparently, I must have broken it when removing the seat. This is incorrect, the quick release is very simple and easy to remove and therefore the plastic must have been cracked prior to removing it. The plastic is obviously not strong enough to support the soft close mechanism. Result - now looking for a different make of seat that will fit or replace the whole toilet, unfortunately I have the same in both bathrooms. I would not recommend this make, looks nice but not fit for purpose.
