While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. ImgFormats is a free, privacy-first toolkit for converting, compressing and resizing images, all directly in your web browser. What makes us different is simple: your images never leave your device. Most online image tools upload your files to their servers to process them, but ImgFormats doesn't. Every conversion, compression and resize happens locally in your browser, so your personal photos, documents and work files stay completely private. Nothing is uploaded, stored or shared. Our Image Converter supports JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, SVG and more. We also offer dedicated one-click converters for the most common jobs, including HEIC to WEBP, AVIF to JPG, PNG to WEBP, JPG to WEBP, WEBP to JPG and WEBP to PNG. Our tools solve everyday image problems. iPhone photos in HEIC format that won't open on Windows or send properly on WhatsApp can be converted in seconds. AVIF and WEBP images saved from websites that won't open in your photo app or upload to a form can be turned into a standard JPG or PNG. The ImgFormats Image Compressor reduces file size without noticeable quality loss, which helps with slow websites, large email attachments and strict upload limits on job, exam and government application forms. The Image Resizer sets exact dimensions for Instagram posts, WhatsApp profile pictures, LinkedIn photos and document uploads. Bulk tools let you convert, compress or resize many images at once, saving time for anyone working with large batches of photos. Everything is 100% free, with no sign-up, no account and no watermarks. ImgFormats works on Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone, in any modern browser, with nothing to install. ImgFormats is used by everyday people fixing photos that won't open or send, students and job seekers meeting file size limits, bloggers and website owners speeding up their pages, designers preparing web-ready graphics, and online sellers optimising product photos for their stores. We also publish free, practical guides on image formats, compression and common photo problems, covering topics like HEIC files, AVIF images, uncompressed photos and the best image sizes for social media, so you understand not just how to fix an image, but why the problem happened. We read every review and use your feedback to keep improving our tools. Have a feature request or found a bug? Leave a review or contact us through our website.
