🚨 WARNING TO DFW CONTRACTORS & POOL…

🚨 WARNING TO DFW CONTRACTORS & POOL WORKERS 🚨

I want to give a quick heads-up to anyone considering doing sub-work or taking a job with Immaculate Pool & Pest Control Service (based out of Venus, TX & Mansfield, TX).

I recently did a job for them, and the experience was incredibly unprofessional. I want to save others in the industry from dealing with the same issues:

Severe Underpayment: I spent a full 14 hour day doing backbreaking work—heavy demolition of pool plaster and shoveling buckets of broken plaster rock in 100-degree weather. For this, I was compensated at just $12.50/hr. As most of you know, the average market rate in DFW for this level of hard labor is easily $22–$30/hr. The expectations were unclear, and I was ultimately taken advantage of.

Unreturned Personal Property: To help out during some bad weather, I brought my personal 10x10 Academy Sports canopy to the job site to protect their bags of plaster. I never got it back.

Unresponsive Ownership: I have kept a clear, professional tone in my attempts to get my canopy returned and to secure fair compensation. Instead of making it right, the owner flat-out refuses to give me the time of day.

I worked my tail off for this company only to be extremely underpaid and left without my personal equipment.

I’ve already notified the BBB and left reviews across their pages. My next steps are contacting local authorities regarding the unreturned canopy, and taking this to small claims court and the TWC to handle the wage dispute.

If you value your time, your equipment, and fair pay, protect yourself and avoid doing business with them.
