By far one of the best martial arts gym in Leeds with amazing facilities and very high level coaching. Also comes with a strong family friendly environment that welcomes all abilities.

Best gym I’ve been to in a long time.
Very high-level, professional staff and really nice coaches.
Also it’s located right next to Ultra-Flex, so combining martial arts training with S&C is very comfy.
What’s there not to like, I don’t know.

IMA is an excellent gym with very high level coaches, great training partners and top facilities (ice bath, sauna, mma cage, huge mat space, heavy bags). I’ve been at IMA since September 2023. In that time I’ve had 7 MMA fights and won 6 of them, including 2 amateur titles. This is the place to be!

This is the best place I have ever trained at hands down. You can see the passion the coaches have and the time and effort put into improving the facility and the people within it (even outside of training hours). I have never felt so assured that I am progressing in the right direction, learning so much every session, and being part of the close community.

Excellent place to train. Very experienced and knowledgable coaches. Facilities include:
Giant mat space (has to be the biggest in the North let alone Leeds)
Training MMA cage
Sauna
Cold bathes
Open 7 days a week with classes during the day as well as evenings.

The coaching at IMA is first class, all the coaches are approachable and care about their students development. The facilities are second to none and the gym has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone of any age/ability. In my opinion it's the best martial arts gym in Leeds (I've trained at a few).

A great place to train BJJ, Striking or MMA - the coaching level is the best I’ve ever experienced.

I’m an older student and all of the coaches adapt things to my age and abilities without watering down what martial arts are.

The gym its self is spotless clean, and the students I train with are friendly and respectful, I now have 3 of my kids training too.

Of all the clubs and schools I have tried IMA is hands down the best. First off the coaching, you couldn't think of a better team to help you learn and develop. All of them are able and willing to take time to break things down and will also push you to learn yourself. The rest of the members, a great bunch of misfits. All shapes and sizes and eager to help one and other.
