Two stores of imobile refused to honor warranty on a screen repair. Screen completely failed after 1 month of use for no reason. No physical damage and the stores refused to look at phone and customer care quoted “physical damage on screen”

Will never buy a refurbished phone again thanks to my experience with iMobile

Purchased an iPhone 14 Pro in “excellent” condition, and chose iMobile over music magpie because they were slightly cheaper for the same quality, and claimed to offer a two year warranty. iMobile get in touch to say they don’t actually have the phone in stock in my chosen colour (purple), but they have one in silver, and offered a handful of freebies to make up for the inconvenience if I continued with the sale…

It’s never been quite right. Little glitches like Apple-pay sometimes not working, or the screen not tapping to wake, and then, 7 months after purchase, a bright green line appears down the side of the screen. Thank god for that two year warranty…

Except there is no warranty. iMobile won’t respond to any emails or messages, all they’ll direct me to is a booking page for repairs and services that require payment upfront. Any attempt to engage about this warranty I was supposed to have is met with a wall of silence.

I ended up paying more to get it repaired at a certified apple supplier - on principle as much as anything else. Now, one year later, it turns out the battery is also stuffed. Adding up all the extra repair costs this phone has cost me, I may as well have got a new one of the later models from Apple. This is not a good company to deal with and I warn anyone thinking to purchase from them to reconsider.

Although imobile have shop fronts that may offer service their online sales team appears more like a scam. They take payment, don’t ship anything then stonewall any attempt to contact them. Now in the hands of my bank- steer well clear

I ordered a case for my mobile on 9th August, the money came out of my account same day. Since then I have sent four emails to their customer services called six times no response to either. Tried their Whatts App as well. these people are a joke, do not deal with them.

After a stressful week with a new (to me) phone I was recommended to go here. The owner could not have been more helpful. He managed to remove the sim card from my phone which I inserted without the tray! I waited in the store while he did it. Really nice gentleman and very kind. I won't go anywhere else now with phone problems.

Gave one star because you can’t give none. Terrible company, sold me a phone that they advertised but didn’t have. Took my money and then called me to say ‘Oh sorry, we don’t actually have that phone’ (they still showed it available on the website!) Over the next week they ignored every call, WhatsApp & e mail I sent. I paid by credit card and have lodged a payment dispute but please take my advice… Don’t touch this company, buy elsewhere, Scammers.

Group of scammers. They offer 500£ for trade in and then 370£ in store as there was a “technical issue” that has been resolved. Unfortunately they still offer the same price online.
