I placed my order in Autumn 2024 and only received the boots well into 2025. They were completely different sizes to each other and both way too small. They offered me a voucher for a second pair (which was nice) but by Autumn 2025 I still hadn't received the replacement for the first pair so I gave up and asked for my money back. They agreed to send the money but still haven't done it. I send a chasing email each month but usually get no response and certainly no clarity on when I will receive the money. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they are probably about to declare bankruptcy and that is why they can't pay refunds (I shouldn't say this because if the people reading this buy shoes then Imotana can pay me and let someone else down, like a Ponzi scheme).

Honestly the worst experience I’ve had with a custom gear company. I ordered via PayPal in April '25 but tried to cancel before they even started making them. They confirmed the cancellation and promised a refund. Never got it. Instead, they ghosted me for months and then just shipped the boots out of nowhere.
The fit is awful. Despite the scan, I have zero lockdown, my heel slips, and there are massive pressure points on the outside of my feet. They are basically unwearable.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of them since December. I’ve messaged their WhatsApp, support email, and even the CEO. They leave me on read and just refuse to answer. It feels like a total cash grab, they wait until the 180 warranty of PayPal expires and they stop answering messages. Save yourself the headache and just buy from a real brand.

Learn from my mistakes!

I ordered there last year in April, after waiting for months and contacting the support (which said they can’t contact their own production?) they made a huge statement that they screwed up, having to reorder all orders or you can have your money back.
Because it was so long i wanted my money back, since I didn’t want to wait for so long again (prediction would be like 3-4 months min.) but still having interest in the shoes and asking for their production state.
Nethertheless they asked for my IBAN, but after that they went radio silent and don’t answer me anymore. Not even wanting a new order or shit..

Since its too long I couldn’t get my money back from Paypal, but i guess they know that and that’s why they don’t give me my money back..

It’s crazy to me that some professional athletes advertise this shitty company.

Worth the wait!!

Longish delivery time but understandable as the boot is custom made for my foot specifications and the design of my choosing. Very happy with the purchase and expect to see more people in Imotana in the near future

Loved the idea of being able to create my own boot based on my foot size and shape. When the boots arrived I wasn't disappointed, will 100% be buying my next pair from Imotana. Thanks.

Into the third month of waiting, was told there would be a few week delay due to lack of material and now have gone radio silent, pathetic customer support have now asked for a refund

What an incredibly terrible experience. After ordering boots in January 2025, it took about 2 months until I had enough of this company. After contacting them first, I didn´t receive any response at all. The second time I´ve tried to reach out to them, they told me they were sorry and would notify me, when they can tell that my boots are ready soon. Many weeks later, still no message from them, I have contacted support again. They told me that they had trouble with the products at the moment and they can´t do anything, they would offer me a refund of 40€. I agreed thinking that it would then be a little more acceptable to wait for this long. After 7 Months (!!!!!) I contacted them again and only then I have received an answer stating that they are currently restructuring and I could choose between a full refund or a gift card for a new pair of shoes. After having filled out their google form for the first time in August 2025, NOTHING happened. AGAIN.
I have now filled out the form a second time and filed a claim via Paypal, hoping that they will atleast be able to give me my money back after I had to collect all evidence.

All in all: absolutely terrible / no communication, customer service beyond dreadful and also not keeping up to any promises whatsoever. 0/10 would recommend to never order from them!

No communication no replys nothing absolute scam. Never received any goods just false promises and information. Save yourself the headache and buy from a reputable company.

I have been trying to get a refund for over a month now, and the only thing I'm hearing is they are sorry and forward my refund again. But nothing is showing up in my bank account and I'm getting really frustrated with the whole thing.

and now I have to do a objection through my bank to get my money.

This boots are next level, the look is insane, the mesh is outstanding, really soft. The grip on the ball is top tier, solid ground traction, the perfect mix of style and performance!

I ordered custom boots and clothes in January 2025, I was told these would be delivered In 8 weeks. I still don't have these items. I have sent three emails and a Facebook message sporadically since the 8week mark and have had zero communication back. Next steps will be a complaint. Very disappointing. I bought another pair of boots from Imotana back when they first started up and everything was great including the boots so now it's a major disappointment and I will be contacting my bank to put in a complaint and get a refund.

Jo - are you going to return for a refund? Their website says you can. I'm in a very similar situation. I ordered boots back in March or April and just got them in Sept. These are for my 15 year old son. They're tight. I can't tell whether it's because it's been 7 months and his feet are still growing or whether it's just that they're not actually bespoke! We did ask them to make them a little larger as his feet are still growing. We also were expecting the boots in 6 weeks, not 7 months. I daren't return them as if it's going to be another 7 months before the replacements arrive....

Saddens me to write this bad review as I had really high hopes for this company and their boots. I waited 7 months to finally receive the boots after constant communication from the company apologising for the delay. Granted they did give me a voucher code for another pair.

I don't believe these boots are made according to the scan of my feet. My feet are a whole half size different from each other yet the footplates are exactly the same as each other. They are really right without socks on and even worse with socks. I'm about bursting the seams of the boots.

I have removed the foot insert in the boots and stood on top and it's nothing like the shape of my feet. Both sides of my foot hangs over both left and right side. This is not good at all.

Wouldn't recommend this company or their so called "custom made" boots.

Sorry Imotana I had really high hopes for your boots - if executed well would be amazing but you've not delivered. The build quality is also poor for €190 boots.

3 weeks over deadline.
Not answering calls or text.
Rude behavior by employies.
Dont buy unless u want to say goodbye to ur money.
