Sick of the camera saying human detection when it’s flies or moths, wearing my battery on my phone for nothing
Poor camera, fraudulently avoiding legal responsibilities
IMOU Cruiser Dual 5MP+3MP security camera has very poor WiFi capability and does not provide continuous viewing, also play back is patchy.
Also, playback on desktop does not function at all.
Other WiFi equipment in the house in similar or further location maintain good constant connection.
I have written several times to IMOU to provide the address for return and refund but did not receive a reply.
IMOU takes our money for poor products and avoids legal responsibility. This is fraudulent.
They also refuse to accept the feedback on their website.
Camera video is very good quality
Camera video is very good quality, but BUT it kept loosing connection, they told me how to get it back, but kept doing it. Yesterday it didn't even try to connect, it's now in the bin.

Avoid at all costs i ve bought a dash cam after a few months stopped working and i can t return it as they avoid to answer even how much warranty i have on it. They are just the sellers they have a partner company who makes and deals with them

Everything works fine and wanted to leave a positive review here because I’d read some weird reviews, probably fake from a competitor.

Avoid buying these cameras. Camera arrived and worked for a brief period of a few hours then put on to charge and it stopped working. Customer service not helpful and directing me to vendor who will not refund or swap so now i have a useless £150 camera waste of money. Has been reported to trading standards.

I have bought three of their cameras, their alarm system and 4 of their light bulbs.
Cameras are complete garbage - you get thumbnail notification 50% of the time, and about 70% of the notifications errors with "streaming error" or no record. This is because their servers are in China, and there's too much delay from there to UK.
They tried to tell me it was my internet quality, so I had new hub and engineer check my line. Problems still occur, and because I had a new hub - all four lightbulbs no longer connect, even after bulb reset.
Geo functioning in app works about 30% of the time.
Alarm system is a complete and utter joke - you arm it from your phone, you then get notifications coming through alerting you that your alarm is active. It completely ignores system do not disturb mode, and app do not disturb mode.
Customer service works about 2% of the time. But their service is as bad as their products. Refuse to admit any problems, even with abundance of evidence.
App harasses you 100% of the time to buy their subscription service.
You can't download your videos unless you have subscription.
There are a lot of very good Chinese companies out there, this is not one of them - I can assure you..
I'll be leaning this same review on as many review sites I can find - globally.

Unprofessional customer service
Unprofessional customer service! They are not willing to escalate proven technial problems with their cameras to their IT/Dahua product team, to truly resolve it.
Instead they send answers which are emberesingly unproffesional, and demonstrate amateur support level.
Good but very basic camera
They're not that bad depending what you want. They are cheap with a good image. And really good night vision. However the motion detected is really basic. You'll either have it pick up every slight moment. Or not trigger unless someone walks right up to the camera. That's not a problem as I just wanted constant recording to SD card with time stamp. So not bothered about too many triggers. However if you want accurate motion triggers. Definitely go with something else. Good value Camera, nothing advanced.

Cameras work well but the recording of every raindrop, snowflake, flying beetle, light from driving past car in darkness and receiving MILLION notifications for that is just AWWWFULLLL and you can't do anything about it!!!! I don't understand why the hell I need to pay monthly to see how system sorts out what I can see in camera- movement, animal, sound etc. That's just stupid. I have millions of videos with weather precipitation and not so much with real movement, so the memory gets full really quickly. That's why 1star... I would never suggest anyone to buy these cameras at all if you really want to record movement not weather forecast!

I joined in April and in May i recieved a message asking me to activate my account cause wasnt allow me to do use the app .
Then today i notice in my banking app they were charging me twice each month and even 3 times in july.
I chat with them over the app they refused to refund me. They refused to put me thru the supervisor/manager.
Then i call and some they refuse to refund and to tranfer me to the managers.
Also I have now still have not receive any email regarding the cancellation.
I dont trust them anymore they took payment 3 times they could took even more then that and do Nothing about it .

imou indoor videocamera. it simply can not connect. these idiotic try again advises...it tell it can not check security of my network. plus enourmous amount of tracking attempts blocked...this staff should not be allowed in eu.

I love the cameras BUT
I love the cameras, wanting to buy more "BUT" "BUT" the App it's so dificul to use and their customer service the worse I have come across with. It almost looks like they want to destroy their business. There is no telephone number for the USA, their WhatsApp number is never your time zone, any message any time you get an automatic message that you are outside their working hours, I mean it's not a chat, and the chat which is so hard to find in their app, you get someone who makes a ticket number to be resolve later. From me, no more business with them. Screw that Imou company.
