Product was decent and message is good however they subcontract out deliveries in my area to a company called Veho that couldn’t follow very simple delivery instructions. After months on excuses from both companies I went with a different company for produce. Save yourself the time and start somewhere else.

I just followed the procedure listed on the Imperfect Foods site to cancel my subscription and hopefully my account. The reason is the questionable quality of the meat and fish products. I received pork chops in my last order. I cut up one of the chops and put it in the refrigerator to give to the dog raw for her dinner and cooked the rest. Approximately two hours later, I took the meat out of the fridge to give to the dog and it had turned a very strange shade of blue. I am 76 years old and I have never in my life seen a pork chop turn blue. Needless to say, I didn't give it to the dog and the ones I cooked to feed my family immediately went into the trash. I wish I had taken a picture of it to send to them. It was just plain scary. That, in addition to the selection of healthy foods available, lead me to think twice about ordering any more from their company. The prices are not that great compared to the prices here in the grocery stores where the selection is unlimited. There are mostly snack type foods available on the site and quite frankly most of their items are on the "pricey" side. I plan to just stick with the foods here in the grocery stores in town. They have sales on day old or lesser quality foods and, if I have an issue with a product, I can send it back immediately. I don't have to shop in a specific window and it's a lot more convenient. I gave Imperfect Foods a try, but I find, in my opinion, it's not worth the hype.

I have not used Imperfect Foods because I absolutely will not give credit card info just to get into the site to view the products/prices. That practice in itself tells me that this company has some reason for capturing people's financial information up front. If/when they change the policy I will look at again.
Edit based on reply: I understand that you are a subscription service but I need to look at what if offered prior to paying for it and.providing financial information to you. Only a few businesses use this model - essentially billing before anyone even sees the product. Good luck with this. Thee are many places to buy food online where I can see what’s on the store before I commit to pay.

The company website says they collect and recycle the silver liners and freezer packs. They don't. They stopped taking mine about 1 year ago. When I happened to be home and spoke to a delivery driver he said he was a third party vendor, was told not to take anything for recycling and if he did take it then he just threw it in the trash. The website is more than misleading, it flat out lies to the consumer.

One star is too good for them. They deserve zero. Very unprofessional. Never received my delivery but they sure took the money! Just a headache from start to finish
Stay away!

They charged me $74 for an order I never placed. I signed up for an account so I could look around, as you can't even see anything until you've given them "payment information". I was considering a subscription, but now I'm feeling scammed.

We used to buy produce from Misfits Market. We quit buying from them because instead of getting "not quite right" produce, we were getting spoiled produce. We eventually found Imperfect Foods and were happy with them, until Misfits Market bought them out. Then we started having the same old problems we had with MM. MM is just running them into the ground. After having several orders where either we received spoiled items or just simply didn't receive items we ordered, we gave up. Yes, they give good customer service and will refund your money, but it's not worth the hassle.

I do not recommend Imperfect Foods /Misfit Market. My orders were often messed up, broken items, missing items, damaged stuff. They are also supposed to pick up and recycle their packaging, which they “forget” to pick up. I had to contact customer service many times. They did refund me back but no apology or improvements. I received many boxes, I did like the items offered and the produce. I gave them many chances. Just received my box and a dozen eggs broken with raw egg spilled all over my groceries. Also frozen food never arrived frozen. Always de thawed. They aren’t worth the frustration with almost every delivery.

Decided to try this website to see if I can save some money on my grocery bill. In order to see their products & prices you are REQUIRED to enter all your personal information. I did that and once I reviewed their prices, I immediately cancelled my account and asked to have all my information removed. It has been 8 days. I have filled out forms and nothing. A code to verify my email was supposed to be sent but I have yet to receive it. Funny because I'm corresponding via the e-mail I used to sign up so I cannot see what the issue would be and how I can get my information deleted.

Food was SUPPOSED to be delivered today. It's past dark, so I doubt they'll be coming out here until tomorrow. THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. My food? They can SHOVE IT.

Used to be great then they changed everything. You can’t remove items once they have been added. The cart isn’t the way it used to be. Once you go to the site to edit your order that’s all you can do. You get one shot at it despite there still be an open shopping window. It won’t let you remove items after that. You can still add items but apparently you only have ONE opportunity to remove items. Terrible. I won’t be back.

One star because Imperfect foods claims to be sustainable and offer a recycle program for the cooler packs and bags yet mine were ignored for 12 weeks. Despite contacting customer service four different weeks in a row, being guaranteed by two individuals it would be addressed the next week, and reaching out to the delivery manager of my area, nothing was resolved. The sustainability and recycling program is why I tried ordering through Imperfect Foods so I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Switching companies that can properly handle a what they claim is apart of their company values.

Since this is the third time I’m missing items & now have to wait another week for them to be ordered yet again I’m canceling my membership !!!! When I spoke to a customer care rep he offered me a refund and I said, that’s it no compensation because now I have to order the products from Bakerly and pay another 9.99 in shipping! He offered me an $8 credit! That’s insulting… he said what’s a reasonable compensation to you I said 20% off my next order. He said he would have to speak to the Team! I said forget it! I can google a discount code! Don’t do me any favors or ACT like they’re doing me a favor and make me feel like I’m asking for the world!!! I canceled my membership & also telling all my friends that I have referred as well! I’m sure they gave experienced the same issues.

Do not give Imperfect Foods your information. I stopped mt subscription. A month and a half later and my subscription was suddenly reactivated yet I was unable to login to skip the week or cancel again. It's been three days and not a single response from support other than a survey asking how my experience with their support system was. They have charged me for and sent me a box I had no interest in receiving.

I have given Imperfect Foods (IF) more than one chance to provide quality produce in the orders I place but, overall the quality is quite low. I volunteer at a food shelf and we would not give our customers some of the quality of food that IF charges for. Prices are not low at all and there seems to be little quality control. Several times various produce has been rotten, spoiled, frozen and inedible. Guacamole I purchased a week ago was spoiled. Cucumbers were frozen or old, I'm not sure which but they were pretty bad. I ordered a head of Romanesco and it was simply rotten and black around the heads. I also don't like that they prefill your basket with grocery items that you have to manually remove if you don't want them. Often times items I would like to buy are out of stock. It's just not been a positive experience. I have tried IF 3 times now and it's the same story each time. I just can't recommend it as a good source to buy groceries. The orders are generally on time and well packed but the quality of the goods leave a lot to be desired.

Added items to my box AFTER customization windows, and expected me to pay for things i do not and cannot eat (dietary preferences AND allergies). Did not respond to customer service emails.

In 2018 Imperfect Produce was phenomenal. Now, its not. It's over priced and you can get much better produce from other websites, like Full Circle. The quality of the produce is now laughable, its not even ugly... everything is just tiny and they'll advertise it as "large". Many of their products from the same brands are also lowered price in the grocery stores. Why would I buy a bag of salad for $5.49 when my local grocery stores sells the same brand for $4.99 or $3.49 every single day? What started as a great idea has gone downhill and it seems their focus is now on Imperfect branded products, which really aren't that great at all. Well, as a long time customer since 2018, it was fun while it lasted. No more.. I'm now using Full Circle and Amazon Fresh to have my groceries delivered.

After looking into the products available, I realized everything is double if not triple what it would cost at your local grocery store. How do they justify imperfect food at exorbitant prices? Seriously, we are expected to pay MORE for less quality foods? Just like we are finding with all these “help the people” organizations, they have NOTHING to do with helping anyone but themselves financially. I’ll stick to buying at my local stores. Did y’all think consumers were unable to do basic math? Please! I don’t know how you stay in business 🤷♀️

I used Imperfect Foods years ago and was excited to get back into it after my recent move and career change. But it looks like the acquisition by Misfits Market has been a complete mess.
They sent me a promo code that they then wouldn't accept, even though I got it directly from them to my email. After two phone calls and a web chat I just never heard from them again. And then, to add insult to injury, they kept sending me more promo codes!
But I persisted and thought I'd give it a month but I was surprised to see that the prices were just as high, and in some places higher, than my grocery store! Plus the $6.99 for delivery.
So I didn't end up even getting a test box because there seems to be no advantage. No promo, no convenience, no deals... And it seems like the mission has veered from the original "ugly produce" and now it's mostly just organic produce and Misfits brand stuff.
I miss the old Imperfect Foods :(
