Thank you for your review. We're sorry you're disappointed, but we feel it's important to provide clarity for anyone reading.
Prior to the sale, the vehicle underwent an AA-certified mechanical inspection, covering key systems including suspension, brakes, tyres, and steering—all of which were confirmed to be in working order with no faults. The sale took place just days after this inspection, and the vehicle also had a valid MOT.
You test-drove and approved the car, then signed an after-sales agreement confirming you were satisfied and understood that any concerns must be brought to us first so we could inspect and resolve them. Unfortunately, you chose not to give us that opportunity and instead involved third parties without prior notice.
We also note the vehicle has covered nearly 8,000 miles in under four months since the sale—well above average use for this period. With a 2010 vehicle, this level of usage can naturally contribute to general wear, which may explain some of the issues now reported.
While we appreciate the documents you’ve since provided, they do not show that any faults were present at the time of sale. We remain confident in the fairness of how this matter was handled and continue to stand by our inspection process, documentation, and customer care practices.
We remain committed to supporting our customers and offering transparency at every step.
