Excellent service

We recently had french doors fitted by Imperial Windows. The overall service was excellent. Nick who came to measure up was very helpful and polite, and the doors arrived three weeks later as promised. The fitters did a great job and left the area clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Scott. They arrived on time to measure up the window and were very professional throughout. Presentable, polite, and extremely helpful in answering all my questions. The whole process was quick and efficient, and I felt confident everything was measured accurately. Would definitely recommend their services!

No Fensa registration or guarantee

Had Imperial Windows install French doors in my dining room in 2019, I was happy with the work but I am trying to sell my house and now found out that even though they are Fensa registered they never logged my purchase and I cannot get a Fensa certificate. Also, they are now saying that they never fitted my windows even though I paid this on my credit card. If you are the type of person of values guarantees or Fensa certificates don’t go with this company. They keep telling me I am not a customer of theirs and yet I can prove I am and this website has a right to remove my review if I cannot prove I am not a customer, so they can get in touch with. As luck would have it, I have found my receipt from Nick for my initial deposit, I will send over to Imperial Windows and Fensa and ensure this lot update their reply with an apology for lying. lol! I will be sending over all documentation on Monday, they say they take customer satisfaction seriously but this is not true, they simply said they have no records and that was it. I hope they show how seriously they take customer satisfaction by primal apology, finally register my windows with Fensa after only 6 years and a copy of the guarantee I requested.

We provide all of our customers with full documentation, including a written contract, invoice, and a FENSA certificate upon completion, as standard practice.

If you do have a receipt or paperwork showing work carried out by Imperial Windows, we would be more than happy to look into this for you. Please send a copy of the receipt or any relevant documents to us directly so we can investigate further.

Disappointed

Disappointed! Re; New front door and side panels.
Having been highly recommended by a friend I feel very let down by the quality of service and installation. The sales guys were very friendly and polite. It was, in hindsight, all a bit too casual. The order was wrong in that the glass side panels and door glazing were not what had been ordered. I was informed the door glazing I had ordered was no longer available so the Company decided to choose the nearest design without reference to me. The fitters were not good and never finished the job properly. As I do not do DIY I am having to get someone else to do this. Finally, a door knocker was ordered but never supplied/fitted even after a further request. All very frustrating and unnecessary.

How reliable is your front door…

We had a new front door fitted January 2023. Scott McCarron in Sales was prompt and efficient in dealing with our requirements. However, the first installation was so bad, another fitter had to come back and do it again. Scott was attentive and helpful. On the other hand, we met "Kevin" (part of the management?), who we found to be argumentative and disparaging of our concerns.
Last month, the lock cylinder began to jam; I called Imperial. Kevin told me they were busy and couldnt say when someone would call. He reminded me that the door lock was only guaranteed for twelve months, so we would have to pay for a replacement.
We decided to wait and see if it was a temporary fault.
Early December I called again. Scott said we would get a call-back to confirm when they could come. After five days I called to check.
Kevin knew nothing about it. I explained everything again and mentioned I spoke to him personally in November. Despite not receiving a call-back and my concerns of not being able to open the door at all, Kevin just wanted to question what was actually discussed in November.
When I asked that the job be done before Christmas, Kevin was disparaging in his remarks telling me they were "very busy because of people like you". I repeated my concerns and asked him when we might expect a call-back but he wouldnt say.
We waited another eight days and received a call-back today from Kevin; to book a day to send someone to survey a "dropped door". It seems he had no idea or even a note of our previous conversation.
I informed Kevin how dissatisfied we were and in the meantime we had not only contacted someone else but in that week, they had called, checked and replaced the faulty lock with a far superior one.
His response, "Okay".

Highly recommend the team at Imperial Windows. We've used the firm to fit new windows and doors over the years and have always received an excellent service. From the initial sales call and first assessment with Scott through to the fitting process, all has been a pleasurable experience - polite, responsive and good quality! We love the new front door that you have recently fitted for us :-)

Disappointed

I had Imperial fit my gutters about 10 years ago, so when I had a leak I didn’t hesitate to contact them. It took a few weeks for someone to come round and give me a quote. They came and fixed one leak but in doing so caused another. I was told if any problems please call and they will fix. Well that was five weeks ago. After numerous calls I was assured someone would be round the following afternoon. I even called to confirm and was informed they were en route. Nothing, not even a phone call. I have left a message and still nothing so in the end I have had to pay someone else to fix their problem. I will never use or recommend them.

A few weeks later, you contacted him directly regarding another issue, and he mentioned he’d be in the area to address it. Unfortunately, as the communication was between you and our fitter rather than through the office, we were unaware of the appointment arrangements.

I had a wonderful experience with…

I had a wonderful experience with Imperial Windows. I emailed on Friday and was contacted immediately. I was offered an appointment the following Tuesday and when the work that was needed was a slightly bigger job it was done to perfection the following morning on the Wednesday. I will definately use this company again if any double glazed windows or doors need fixing.

Dreadful After Sales Service Experience

If I could have given this company a zero, or a minus, rating, I would.

BEWARE of this company - quick to take your money, but not interested with any after sales service.

I had two windows installed in July 2023, that do not close properly, and told them about this problem in January. They did send someone out in February after a FENSA inspection to turn a window that had been installed the wrong way around, but the window sealing problem was not rectified, and I now have insulation tape around the windows to keep the cold air out, and warm air in.

I have been left frustrated and upset throughout my whole ‘after sales’ dealings with Imperial Windows, and who, despite numerous emails and calls, have ignored any further communication with me, apart from a request for evidential videos showing the blinds and curtains moving - which were provided.

I am a pensioner and I really cannot afford to get another company in to carry out repairs. They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

4 yr old doors adjusted free of charge
