LimitlessChess and ImproveMyChess: quality material and fraudulent practices

LimitlessChess and ImproveMyChess are two sites managed by chess expert GM Mesgen Amanov. They provide great content, from GM Mesgen Amanov himself, GM Varuzhan Akobian, GM Josh Friedel, GM Gabor Papp, GM Alejandro Ramirez, IM Eric Rosen, GM Gergely Antal, and GM Vladimir Akopian, but poor service and fraudulent business practices.
This is a short story of why I am strongly recommending avoiding them.

All was fine and dandy until I decided in September 2022 to cancel the subscription. Both sites do not offer cancellation options, even if they ensure otherwise. I managed to find a way to contact them: LimitlessChess provides a chat. I used it, and the operator offered me first the option to get a discount, which I declined. He then said he would send an internal message to cancel my subscriptions. Unfortunately, I received no confirmation, and none contacted me either.
On October 31st, I was billed again. This time I managed to email their support, opening a support case (#2854). I then contacted them again to ensure that the subscription would be canceled. The only result was that on December the 1st, I was billed again. I opened another case the very same day (#363) through their chat and chased them almost daily, giving them yesterday, the 9th of December, as a deadline to cancel my subscription and refund the last payment.

They essentially ghosted me. No attempt to bump it up has sorted out the problem. I have attempted to contact Stripe, the payment processor, but their process requires the Bank to cancel the payments. I have contacted my Bank, and they require the seller or payment processor to stop requiring the payments. Therefore, I have been left with the only option to revoke my credit card. This will cost me and will require a lot of work to restore the other subscriptions I have on my credit card.

This is friendly advice to everyone considering subscribing to LimitlessChess or ImproveMyChess. Do not do that! It does not deserve the effort.
