DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

We had an accident in April we were insured with M&S they put us through to im solutions. These people wasted 81/2 weeks by not doing very much.They kept saying third party were not answering emails,having trouble getting the money.They then after all this time said we will have to hand your case back to your insurers.Absolute joke!We were then put through to LV who knew nothing about our accident by the way was not our fault!!So our claim has had to be started from the beginning.DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLEour saga goes on......

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, wasted so much time and in the end lied that third party disputed liability , and after that made u-turn . Absolutely useless support and incompetence company. Now I'll have no car for who knows how long and about to lose my job. Well done

Seek Legal advice, just don't let them get involved.

Halifax claims team insisted that I had to use IMS. I should have been advised to go to the at fault parties insurer directly. Awful from day. Valued car as basic model when it was the Active Optional Equipment model plus unlisted extras and refused to increase offer. When I said I would take amount it just to get it over with they returned the claim to my insurers due to "ongoing delays" 2 working days by myself and a month by them. Not working for the insured at all. I am seeking legal advice and have already made 2 complaints to Halifax. Will not even release my car for independent assessment, will not even guarantee my car will not be sold without my consent.

Don't let your broker refer you to IMS

If your Insurance Broker suggests they refer you to IMS to deal with an insurance claim, decline and ask for your Underwriter to deal with it instead.
It is almost impossible to speak to anyone and it draws the process out across months - a money-making exercise for your broker, IMS and any car hire company involved.

Doesn’t deserve 1 star

Doesn’t deserve 1 star. Can’t get though to them, my car was deemed as a total loss to no fault of my own and I have to give my hire care back today. I rely on my car for work so without one I am out of work. I didn’t even know IMS had recieved payment for my written off vehicle until enterprise contacted me asking for the car back as it’s been a week since IMS got paid out. They got paid out on the 1/12 and didn’t think to contact me telling me that my money is ready to be transferred to myself. Now I can’t get through to them to ask for my money. I don’t even see why this company should get my money and not directly to me from the third party insurer. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are offering me significantly less money then the third party insurer have offered them.

STAY AWAY FROM IMS!!

Worst company I have ever had to deal with! My vehicle had minor damage from another driver reversing into the rear of it whilst it was parked. They had it in salvage storage for 2 months and it was not a total loss!

I know for certain that the hire car costs will be more than actually fixing my vehicle!

I'm also heavily pregnant so I've been needing my car back to install my car seat, which I told them but there was no urgency what so ever!

Every time I called IMS the call handlers couldn't give me an answer and don't seem to know what they are doing! I got told several different stories in the same day from different call handlers!

If your insurance company refer you to IMS stay away at all costs!

One of the worst companies I’ve ever…

One of the worst companies I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. My car was hit by a car driving out of a side road and driver admitted fault. I was expecting my car to be repaired but a text message from IMS told me they deemed it a total loss. I then had an hour wait on the phone to respond to a ridiculously low valuation. The call handler said she couldn’t respond to specific information about my car. The next communication I had from them was by text on the evening their offices were closed for 3 days. I cannot describe the frustration in dealing with this call centre! They exist to save money for 3rd party insurance companies, which presumably pays their wages. If HastingsDirect want to keep their customers they seriously need to look into the level of complaints being made about IM solutions.

I have had the most awful experience…

I have had the most awful experience with this company. I recently had a vehicle that was written off on a no fault claim and this terrible company were instructed by my insurance company to deal with the salvage /write off process. I am now in a position where the company have sent the wrong amount to me in an incorrect name on cheque. On top of this im in a foreign country with a hire vehicle that they have now refused to insure although their policy states I have the use of the hire vehicle 7 days after I receive the correct cheque which h I have not yet received and they continue to ignore nay of.my numerous attempts to make contact. Fortunately enterprise rental have been amazing and have assured me the vehicle will be insured. Enterprise also agree that the service I have been given has been dreadful. If your insurance compnay instruxt these clowns then decline I beg you.

Not impressed

Super long waiting time to get connected (minimum 1hr), payout lower than the value of the car, they making decisions instead of you and if you have other ideas wait on hold for hours. Very poor customer service.

They are cowboys,had my car for 4 weeks for a job that should of took two days,my car came back filthy outside and inside,job was done poorly, avoid this company,if your insurance tells you to use this company refuse and do your homework and go to a professional company,not a amateur company

The do not care about anyone but…

The do not care about anyone but themselves. Undervalue the car, can not tell you when you will get your money.
I am disabled, suffer from depression and have spend over 10 hours on the phone. Without a car I am housebound.
I am the innocent party in this and there is no care at all about MY mental health and the probable loss of my deposit on a replacement car. All they can say is sorry. That is not any use to me as my health deteriorates due to their incompetence and being unwilling to even try to help.

Company is useless.

Company is useless.
Hope to not deal with you guys again.
First the value of my car was way below the market value - No one told me what was deducted from the car value in the first place.
I was told that later, when you already passed it to 3rd party insurer, and now you can't get those extra 50-70 quid from them (the deductions).
