Our guide was very experienced and knowledgeable about the river and it's history. We had a younger rafter in the boat and special care and attention was given so that they were included and safe during the trip.

Wedding Weekend Event
In July 2017, we organized a rafting trip as one of the wedding weekend events, 30 rafters, including the wedding party, other friends and family had a fantastic time on our 1/2 day trip of Brown's Canyon. Weather was great and our guides were fun and experienced.

Incredible adventure
Me and my son had the pleasure of experiencing white water rafting with Wilderness Aware in the Summer of 2017. The experience is one that will not be forgotten. Incredible scenery, nature, and a wild ride....too much fun!! Definitely will return!!

Family Trip
I've gone to Wilderness rafting the past 2 years with my boys for an all-day trip and have loved every minute of it. Great staff great trip down the Arkansas River we plan on doing it every year!

All-Star First-Time Experience
We were first-time white water rafters, and we loved our experience with Wilderness Aware Rafting. The staff members were professional and made us feel completely confident in their safety-first approach. The facilities and equipment were clean, and the guides were really, really fun in addition to being competent. They inspired our kids to want to be guides one day themselves!

Safety First
Safety First! Then fun will easily follow, from the routes they take down Colorado River to the staff who really look out for you and are entertaining with humor at the same time. They are river historians, nature enthusiasts and are stewards of our natural resources and great to travel with them. Instruction is complete. Equipment is state of the art (back to safety first). The lunch time was very good, plentiful and relaxing. I will go with them again!

What a great review. Thanks! Yes indeed. Without "safety first" as a motto, everything else is irrelevant. We train hard, and buy and maintain equipment to cover the safety so that all the guides have to work on is tailoring the trip to each guest. Glad to hear it is working!

High water comes every June. Some people love the big waves and big splashes. Some folks may prefer lower levels with more technical maneuvering. Every water level is a blast and why I chose to locate in Colorado!
