Do Trustpilot Actually Have The Balls To Address EVERY Complaint?
Update: 07-12-2025.
Now 3 YEARS and 6 MONTH on.
This is becoming more and more infuriating. I am now 79 years old. Still no progress from Loan Administrator (Inchmead - director Graham Arnott and previous director Hybre Lewis) a/o Security Trustees (Jade State Wealth - director, Graham Arnott). Do these supposed accountants actually know the UK legal definition of INSOLVENCY? Below is a review that I submitted previously with others, Trustpilot have removed them. In essence, since I submitted the original review, nothing has changed with regard to this matter.
Previous review: "I personally believe that Inchmead are out of their depth and are incapable and/or unqualified to manage certain activities which they profess to be experts in (they say they are accountants but they needs third party actuaries to do the real work) and unfortunately a little knowledge has possibly turned into a dangerous thing). Our horrendous experience, over the past five years, with regard to the money we loaned to Marcello Developments (UK) Ltd. has been handled with unprofessionalism and incompetence. Another major problem is that Partner: Complex Matters not only is Marcello Company Secretary and Company Accountant but is also sole owner of the company Jade State Wealth (the Security Trustee) – Is this even legal? To me it smacks of “conflict of interest”. Some of our 5 year Inchmead experience highlights are:-
The first letter I received from Inchmead, signed by Partner: Complex Matters (Graham Arnott) and dated 8th February 2016, stated: “Your Loan Note has been issued and is enclosed within this pack. Accounting Worx are the appointed administrators of the loans and we will be your first point of contact for anything administrative”.
On the 19th September 2017 we forewarned Partner: Complex Matters that we would be redeeming our investment on 8th February 2018 (the second anniversary of our investment).
On 19th September 2017 Partner: Complex Matters replied “We have sent a copy thereof to the Investor Relations team at Marcello for you. On the maturity date, please send us a letter together with your original bond certificate. Please write to: Jade State Wealth, Atlantic House, Imperial Way, Reading, RG2 0TD. We will acknowledge receipt in writing within 2/3 working days. At the same time, we will give notice to the directors at Marcello to redeem your bond and make funding available to us to make payment to you for the capital sum and accrued interest”. THIS STATEMENT WAS NOT FULFILLED IN ANY REGARD AND FOR THE PAST 3.5 YEARS WE HAVE NOT HAD THE ORIGINAL BOND (Loan Note Certificate).
On 9th March 2018 we mailed the Redemption Request and original bond certificate to Jade State Wealth (a Graham Arnott sole director company). Following a prompt from us Partner: Complex Matters acknowledged receipt of the mailed package on 16th March 2018.
Since 16th March 2018 (more than 3.5 years) we have been to trying to recover our investment and interest from the "appointed administrator" Inchmead, as have around another 100+ investors in similar circumstances. We have received many epistles, fairy stories and untruths from Partner: Complex Matters but no positive progress in the recovery of funds. We have persistently requested and demanded that the Security Trustee (Jade State Wealth - Partner: Complex Matters - must fulfil its legal duty but to no acknowledgement or avail.
The last communication we had from Partner: Complex Matters was on 15th June 2020 (6 months ago), in which Partner: Complex Matters stated “In closing, and I will send further details later this week, we are in advanced discussions with the firm XXXXXXXXXX who are ready, willing and able to be appointed as Receiver to deal with the matter, including dealing directly with XXXXXXXXX. We have provided some of the documents XXXXXXXXXXX requested for the first phase of due diligence and I am sure they will come back with questions or require more documents, which we will provide”.
Since 15th June 2020 (6 months ago) I have heard nothing from Inchmead the "Appointed Administrator of the loan", Partner: Complex Matters, Jade State Wealth, Marcello Developments (UK) Ltd., a Receiver or anyone else in relation to this matter.
I would advise anyone thinking of using Inchmead for accounting or any other services to think again.
