I would have liked to have given Indra renewable technologies a five star rating, however when I needed them the most, I remained caller number four for over an hour to customer services. I had an el... See more

Awful kept blaming the instal for the issues. Even wanted us to get the electricity company out to dig up the road. The neighbours have chargers with different companies installed before mine and have had no such problems. 2nd unit in 15 months has just gone wrong. Just don't put yourselves through it. Octopus recommended them so shame on them too.
I purchased a charger about a year ago - there were issues awaiting on national grid to sort and issues with my car arriving which delayed getting this installed.
After paying for installation the engineer could not get this to connect to the Indra app despite it having a wifi connection.
After eventually getting through to Indra they’ve advised that I no longer am able to use the charger as it doesn’t meet “safety regulations” to be installed so have removed the charger from their system rendering this charger useless. No support in providing a discount or a replacement charger or even adding it back onto their system. Safe to say I’m sorry I chose Indra what seemed like a nice British brand -they’ve rendered the charger useless and now I need to purchase another charger yet still within its 5 year guarantee they refuse to help me.
Amanda especially showed no empathy and no care in their support whatsoever after spending hundreds on a charger and installation. Disappointing to see from a British brand.
Had issue with my EV charger connecting to 3g issue due to some sim issue.
Jack was helped us to reset the 3g dongle, however the connection was not successful.
Jack emailed with all my options to reconnect to the Internet. I have managed to find a local engineer who could do my hardwired networking cable and problem resolved.
Even through I was expecting the problem to be fixed my Indra at FOC. Jack was helpful to explain the 3g issue and its out of company hands.
Andy sorted out a charging problem I had struggled with, probably because I misread the instructions but he responded quickly a gave me good advice.
Thanks
The charger is absolutely useless. Company appear keen to help but then never reply, ‘install firmware’ which never works. Installer came out and didn’t seem to have any clue. Been without a charger for 6 weeks now and back in the never ending call back queue. Resorted to using a granny charger which is slow but reliable.
I have been an Indra customer since having an Indra charger installed by ChargedEV in 2019. With the latter moving away from support, Indra have moved in. Unfortunately, this charger suffered from a lightning storm and ended up dead so I phoned Indra for help.
Amanda was keen to help and conduct a sale and was initially very helpful, advising me on a discount for an upgraded charger and a 2-3 week wait for installation. However, it was concerning that once the money was transferred, Amanda ceased to correspond.
The colleague who took over was Mitch, who emailed me requesting confirmation that the new charger had arrived. When the charger arrived, via FedEx, which I duly did and received no response from Mitch. In fact, it seems Mitch is so busy that he was unable to answer few if any emails!
So I waited for 3 weeks.
Then I phoned Indra and was met with a customer support queue that was 17 long. I left it half-an-hour and phoned again and was again met with a queue of the same length!
So I re-phoned and given this is an active purchase, selected Sales instead and spoke to Jody. She was most helpful but struggled to find my order on the system so would phone me back in 10 minutes. Well, she didn't phone back but I received a curt email from Mitch, informing me that my order was with their sub-contractor. That was it - no giving them a nudge or explaining who the contractor was; the implication being that I just have to wait.
Therefore, I gave it a few days and emailed Mitch on Monday morning. Of course, he never responded.
Phoned again 2 days later and thought it courteous to go via customer support only to find the queue was, this time, 14 long!
Consequently, I switched to going through to Sales and again spoke to Jody who remembered our previous call. To her credit, she kindly understood the problem and explained that Indra sub-contract all their installations to We Power Your Car. Jody told me that Indra had chased this company twice already, apparently, and were still waiting on an install date.
At that point, I requested a refund.
Ironically, I went to the gov.uk website, entered my postcode and found a local installer in my area. After phoning them, they arranged the install the same day and a new charger has been installed inside of a week.
Maybe, "go local" is the takeaway but the moral of the story is customer support and logistics badly need looking at Indra.
Very disappointed that the charger is now offline due to connectivity issues. It doesn't connect via our home router so we now can't charge as flashing purple. Followed the advice. Called Customer Support and very disappointed to hear them almost tell me gleefully the only solution is to buy a new one.
We have only had the box for about 4.5 years and I would have expected it to last a lot longer. I asked about repair and told out of warranty so basically washed their hands of us. When pushed an engineer can come out for £250 and then they may not find a fault. This issue has happened twice before where it is flashing purple and it was fixed remotely. I asked about paying for this repair and happily told it's not an option as it is out of warranty.
Was sent an email with links to buy a new charger, no offer of fitting it or explanation of offers available and what would be best for us. Agent was not interested in finding out our needs and now we have no charger.
Will not be buying another charger from Indra and will also tell people who ask for recommendations that this is not a good company to use.
Great support by email, even for a charger I bought 'technically' second hand
I’ve had a Smart Lux for over two years and still I have problems with the unit. It goes “offline” on a regular basis and when I’ve asked for support it’s been almost non-existent. The app sends you round and round in circles at times when trying to get information. I’ll probably replace in due course.
Fantastic UK company offering state of the art solutions to renewable technology. I have one of their ev car chargers on my wall (Indra Smart Lux) it is a brilliant bit of kit, reliable, easy to use and very easy on the eye. Their customer service is first class, I emailed them on a Sunday evening with a connection issue and on the Monday morning they emailed back said that they had checked my connection and had upgraded my hardware remotely to resolve it. Great service.
Very bad customer service. We bought an EV charger from Eco Wizard, who sell Indra EV chargers. The charger turned out to be a faulty one and perhaps a used one, returned by a customer, since it had error logs from before I bought it, confirmed by INDRA. Contacted Indra and they said they will send a replacement. Few days later I contacted them to check for a delivery date. The response from the customer care operative was condescending , to say the list. Her answer was, I can't tell you when it will be dispatched. You will know when you get it!! They only talk to each other over emails. The customer care will blame the Booking team and Booking team will blame the warehouse team. The process is annoyingly disjointed. They don't talk to each other. Only emails!!They have no way of escalating an issue internally and they are quite casual about it. They do not care!! May be a little training in customer care or common decency or common sense will go a long way. I am still waiting for the replacement, by the way!!
Had this charger for 2 years - always playing up. Constantly letting me down when I need it. Wish I wouldn't have gone with this provider.. Given up with trying their support.
Horrendous charger. Charges when it wants. The App is completely useless. Boost button works when it decides. Standing at night just trying to get a charge for the next morning is absolutely sole destroying. Stay well clear.
Excellent professional advice from Jack. Returned my calls and ensured my query was resolved with clear explanations. Very reliable EV charger with very helpful staff. Would recommend.

5 stars for the member of staff working for customer support, but only 3 stars for the misleading information published online and through the app. It's time Indra addressed this issue regarding reconnecting a charger when it loses wifi connection. I spent the best part of an hour trying to reconnect my charger only to realise the instructions are rubbish. Customer support had me reconnected in under a minute simply by giving me the proper instructions!!

Had a little trouble setting up the charger and to connect to the internet. However Andy from Indra was really helpful by providing me the detailed information to install. The charger has been really good till today. Thanks Andy i would recommend everyone to opt for Indra as they have a very competitive price in the market.

Had no car charger for 4 weeks asked for a manager call back a week ago but nothing. On hold for 40 minutes. Stay well clear of this crap company.

Had a slight issue after set up but it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I was kept informed of the progress and the sparky who did the installation was top notch.
