Let me start with how absolutely awesome the service from Eduardo Carro was. Eduardo was very thorough in making sure I had the best experience and also offered benefits I didn’t know of. And along with Eduardo is Rocio, which I believe is the supervisor. She made sure I was completely satisfied and happy with my rental. There’s a rep by the name of Camila who followed up to make sure I was treated right and to make sure my experience was a very good one. This team is amazing and I can’t speak highly enough of all of them! Thank you Infinity Car Rental for having chosen quality and very qualified staff, but also having a great selection of vehicles to choose from. You all have made me a lifelong client and thanks again to all of you!! 💞

The car we were given was functional and met what we requested; however, the car had several exterior cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, and paint damage) that are not noticeable if the photos are not taken properly. For this reason, I recommend taking your own photos with your cellphone, making sure the damage is clearly visible, to avoid discrepancies. I liked that they honored the price given in the quote, but what I didn’t like is that they tried to charge me an additional ‘insurance’ for windows and tires, when this should already be included in the insurance one is already purchasing.

They were there on time to pick me up and that was great.
But I booked my car 3 months in Advance and when I got to the desk the car was not ready and they were still washing it. I had to wait 40 min to get a car.

This company does not operate the rental is a 3rd party rental when you pick up they are going to try to over price you and sell you insurance. They are going to talk fast and charge you in different currencies pesos and dollar makes sure you check fine print. I would not rent with them anymore the are not transparent and they over charge insurance.

Fair price. A little skeptical of the price given for 3rd party insurance, but it all works out in the end

On December 20th, I picked up a rental car in Cancún, Mexico, which I had booked through this platform. The rental cost was $280. I carefully reviewed the contract on the Booking website beforehand, and everything appeared clear and acceptable.
However, when I arrived at the Infinity Car / FlexWays counter, I was informed that I was required to purchase a mandatory third-party insurance at an additional cost of $333. At that point, it was already around 3:00 p.m., and canceling the rental was not a realistic option—I would have lost the original rental payment, and I also needed to drive two hours to catch a ferry to my destination. I was effectively forced to pay this additional amount in order to receive the car.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that every other customer at the counter was experiencing the same issue. The staff openly stated that this commonly happens when renting through third-party platforms and suggested that renting directly with them would have been cheaper.
Once I returned home, I contacted Booking, submitted a formal claim, and provided all the documentation they requested. Despite this, Booking denied my claim and did not refund any of my money, including the additional insurance charge or any other fees. The explanation given was that the vendor stated the insurance was not mandatory, directly contradicting what customers are told at the counter.
Online reviews clearly show a consistent pattern of tourists being pressured and misled by this vendor using coercive sales tactics. Unfortunately, I did not review these comments beforehand, as I trusted that using a platform like Booking would offer some level of protection and vendor vetting for customers.
To make matters worse, Booking.com does not provide a customer service phone number for immediate assistance. Had I been able to speak with someone in real time, this situation could have been verified on the spot. Rental car companies are aware of this limitation and appear to take advantage of it.
Be extremely careful when renting a car in Cancún. These practices are common, and despite widespread negative reviews, platforms continue to work with vendors that engage in them.

Ridiculous amount for the 3rd party insurance that wasn't mentioned before booking online. I had my insurance with the credit card but they clearly said and I quote "no credit card in the world provides 3rd party damage ". I have been renting car without insurance through my credit card. Car we got, driver seat was not reclining. It was so uncomfortable to drive for long hours. Other than that 2 stars are for the guy giving the service at the counter.

Everyone was very nice, wait times were not long, the car was clean and easy to drive, they communicated effectively, they did not try to scam us into extra charges, and when we returned the cars and were late to the airport they gave a ride instead of waiting for the shuttle!

At Cancun airport, the agency refused to give me the car I ordered on the internet unless I purchased additional liability insurance above the minimum ($750,000 pesos) required by Mexican law. I left without a rented car.

When I arrived at the airport I was immediately contacted through WhatsApp where the driver would meet me to take me to the nearby office to pick up my rental.
The office was very kindly and my car was running and air conditioning was running ready to go. The car was brought to me, not me having to roam around and find.
Returning the car was just as easy.
Will use this company again.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY (Cancun)
*DO NOT LOOSE YOUR PAPERWORK*
*BUY THE TOP INSURANCE*
I've read some negative comments about Infinity since booking, but had we not had any damages to the car (which were not our fault) it would have been a great, trouble free booking.
Car was clean and in good condition.
The check in was pretty smooth, we ended up buying the full insurance package, thankfully.
We returned the car with some damages that were not our fault. The rear lamp had been hit whilst we parked it in the town.
We lost our booking agreement paperwork. They tried to delay us to the point of missing our flight and then pressured us into paying a made up repair fee, although we had their full insurance package.
Because we didn't have our paperwork they refused to find our booking agreement, which contained the insurance details. Thankfully, last minute, we found our copy which contained the information and suddenly their mood changed and they instantly closed our policy and we left for the airport.
Just cover yourself, take photos of the documents incase.

⭐ 1/5 SCAM ALERT! 🚨
This company is a total scam! Over a month ago, I returned the car in perfect condition, yet my deposit has still not been refunded. They keep making excuses and don’t respond properly.
Clearly, I’m not the only one—all the negative reviews about this company are true! You won’t see your money again.
Avoid these fraudsters at all costs. SCAM SCAM SCAM! 👎🚫
Email they give is incorrect! I tried to send an email multiple times!

These company needs to be investigated by authorities, they are thieves and con artists. They advertise cars at one low price, when you get to the agency they tell you they do not accept insurance coverage from Amex or Mastercar/costco who I use to cover my insurance costs. They charged almost 1000$ insurance for a two week rental, they charge me a retainer for 700$ that was supposed to be reimbursed automatically3 weeks latter I am still waiting. They claimed someone stole my license plate and they charged me 600$ to open an investigation...complete con-artists and thieves. They gave me an old car, whose speedometer did not work, the dashboard did not work, I could never tell if I had gas in the tank. While at the rental place I asked them to cancel the contract and they refused and was obliged to keep the car... The worst experience in my life.... AVOID these rats

Criminal company!!
NEVER RENT HERE
they will steal your credit card deposit.
They are criminal liars.
They force you to take out extra insurance otherwise you won't be able to pick up the car.
The facilities are located in a dangerous and poorly frequented area. You may have problems at any time.
They say they will pick you up at the airport but they haven't said anything. I waited 2 hours until I took a taxi to their tent. They said the driver had fallen asleep.
Incompetent, criminals, and thieves.
They stole $500 from my card because the card had come out on the first day. Be careful, they put the plate badly attached and then steal you.
It’s a scam!! Firstly when we got there they said we need insurance and it’s compulsory they gave two plans we opted for one and we paid $260 and they took $200 as deposit for the insurance which they said they will return after we return the car. We returned the car and after checking they said they will be returning the money. It’s been a month we still have not recieved our deposit, we contacted them (after a week) and the lady said their system is down but will issue the refund once they have access to the system.
SCAM!!!!
I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK
I HAD PAYED 1 WEEK OF RENTAL TO FIND OUT THAT THEY NEVER PROVIDED THE SERVICE THEY SAY THEY PROVIDE
I will make sure nobody else get scammed by this so call car rental company.
A year ago we were scammed because we booked a car and we pay for everything including insurance just to find out that when we got to the aeroport in Cancun we couldn't get in contact with them.
We call and call and call the phone number on the website and nobody ever answered the phone.
We literally spent the fist day trying to see if we could talk to somebody and when we finally did, they said that there was nothing they could do... So we lost the money worth for almost 2 weeks rental.
Hope this review help somebody else not to get scammed as we did.
