My support request was submitted on a Sunday at around 13:00. It was processed the same day and the reply with possible solutions was received around 20:00, the same day. As all happened outside week days, I consider the response time excellent.

There was an invoicing problem due to cancelled services that had a renewal warranty which automatically prolonged them anyway, but the issue was dealt with understanding and my feedback seemed to have been taken into account.

Worst support ever.
It took more than a week to find a solution to a DNS issue I had when the answer was actually in the first email I sent them. If they had notice I was using the wrong DNS, it would have solved it directly. I found the solution myself and they replied after I fixed it.
Next issue, with emails, I sent a ticket on Monday, we are now Friday evening and still no answer.
Their premium support is 50€/month which is way more than the service cost I have with them. No ways to comment on the ticket, no way to send them an email about it.
Based on my experience, I recommend not using them at all.
I went there to work with an EU company, I'm starting to feel there's a reason why most was done in the US so far...
In light of the recent political upheaval we decided to find a data storage company outside of the United States, as this is an important service to our business.
Not only was Infomaniak a good replacement, but also much better solution then we previously had in place, and competitively priced as well.
I had to contact the technical support a couple of times to install and configure the software, and on both occasions received a prompt, polite and detailed response.
I would therefore recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable data storage solution.

I found an e-mail display problem in their webmail and they managed to forward the information to engineering and release a fix very quickly (took less than a week). I'm also a very happy public cloud hosting customer with my cloud instances. The offer is extremely fast and very reliable.

kSuite (including email service) down for maintenance at 13:15 on April 4, 2025, without announcing that there would be maintenance.

Great company offering a valuable alternative to US big tech. It is increasingly important to choose European alternatives that stand for European values and must adhere to European privacy laws and regulations. Infomaniak offers that possibility without losing functionality. Their customer service is also outstanding!

Fantastic support and excellent prices.
Had some great support with DNS issues on a domain that another registrar had messed up affecting my email forwarding destination address. Spoke with Max in support who was a star and ensured everything was fixed in a follow up.

I recently discovered Infomaniak and have been pleasantly surprised by their offerings.
Here are some of the things I appreciate:
Multiple Tools in One Place: Infomaniak provides a variety of tools all under one roof, making it convenient to manage different aspects of my digital life.
Sustainable Alternative: They offer a more eco-friendly option compared to many competitors, which is important to me.
GDPR Compliance and Privacy Respect: Infomaniak adheres to GDPR regulations and respects user privacy, giving me peace of mind.
User-Friendly: The platform is relatively easy to use, even for those who may not be tech-savvy.
Competitive Pricing: The prices are reasonable and competitive, making it a cost-effective choice.
However, there are a few features I wish they offered:
End-to-End Encryption and Zero-Knowledge: These security features would greatly enhance the privacy and security of the services.
VPN: Adding a VPN service would be a valuable addition for users concerned about online privacy.
Open Source: It would be great if Infomaniak could offer open-source options for some of their tools.
Overall, I am happy to have found an alternative to Big Tech that aligns with my values. I feel good about paying for a product that respects my privacy and contributes to a more sustainable future.

Great replacement for the Gmail/Gdrive
For just 2 euros a month or 20 euros a year you get 1TB cloud storage and the email service is just as good as gmail.

The best provider in Switzerland! Always very helpful and reactive!
Excellent professional service and support. I've been working with this provider for years and am delighted with their development policy. I'd recommend them!

I'm using Infomaniak's Services since years and didn't have much to contact the support. This time I needed some advice on best practice on a special customer case and all went perfect. I had my answers to my entire satisfaction.

Update August 2025. Customer service has improved a lot and service is very reliable and quite polished. There are few alternatives as good at the moment. Added two stars
I’m leaving my old review:
I have always used Microsoft Exchange and MS365 and been generally happy with the service for my business. Increasingly, however, I want to use services that are ethical and which do not harvest my data to make money. Although MS business plans supposedly don't do that, I don't trust MS and wanted to move to something smaller and more private. I also wanted to find a company I can stay with and who I feel I can trust with my data going forward.
I was hopeful and excited about Infomaniak and first impressions were good -- confusing and messy management panel, but overall the services seemed relatively full-featured and worked smoothly. However, service is appallingly slow and inadquate and I just can't waste time when I'm having an issue. They promise 24 hour response when you submit a ticket, but then take a week or more to respond.
When I asked about the slow response time, they said it's not a guarantee when they're busy, but that crucial caveat is not mentioned when you submit your query. They suggested that I could sign up for their premier support, which is expensive and not what I need. More importantly, I was promised a reasonable response time when I signed up, not this. I then naively assumed that follow up responses would be faster, but no such luck. I waited another week, then closed the ticket when I figured out the solution.
My most recent support request has been equally poor. I asked a simple question, i.e. are emails encrypted at rest. This is a question that could be answered yes or no. After a week, they replied that 'encryption is not natively integrated at Infomaniak', but said that I could use Thunderbird and PGP. I followed up, telling them that I understood that there was no way to use encryption in their webmail, but that my question was about whether email is encrypted at rest. On their site they say that their drive is encrypted at rest, but nothing about email, which I had not noticed when signing up. Since they promise to be secure and private, I assumed they would do at least what other less privacy-oriented providers do.
Their response, four days later ( a record in response time thus far) was:
"Unfortunately, I don't have any more details on the technologies used for encryption at rest. In any case, if you're worried about your data, I can assure you that we respect our customers' privacy and we protect our customers' data as much as possible.
We have our own data center and manage everything from end to end.
Thank you for your trust, we remain at your service."
Really? At my service? My trust? I replied that I needed more detail, not just an expectation that I should trust them when they say they are private and secure. Google says that too and so do most companies, even the worst offenders. This was on 9 February and I haven't heard anything back.
I wanted this to work so much that I have kept thinking I can somehow live with this kind of response and the lack of timely support, but I've decided I don't want to waste my time. And, I also don't trust that they will be there for me if something more serious happens.
I can't recommend them at this point. It's not worth the hassle when there are other services to choose from.
Update on 17 Feb: still no response from customer service.
Update 19 Feb: after waiting 10 days, I followed up and got a friendly response the same day telling me that they don’t use encryption at rest because it could cause problems with search and indexing. Strange given that most other providers seem to have no issue at all with encryption at rest. Anyway, not the answer I was hoping for, but at least my question was answered. He suggested calling instead if it’s an urgent question.
Update 7 March. Just to acknowledge your response below -- thank you. I have two additional comments. First, your information about encryption continues to be confusing and contradictory. You have told me that you do not use any encryption at rest and yet on your site I found this:
"The risks associated with online crime are the most significant threat to data integrity. This is why Infomaniak’s datacenters are so discreet. They blend into the landscape, and their location is not disclosed. This is also why we encrypt all data, develop our own technologies and automatically and proactively patch the CMS."
So, which is it, do you encrypt all our data or do you encrypt none? Or, is it somewhere in between?
Second, while it's great that you are trying to improve, I also note that you are trying to grow your service despite not being able to keep up with current demands. I suggest you slow down until you are able to keep your promise to current customers.
