Absolute nightmare of a company, I really wish I would have researched them here first. Predatory and does not work as advertised. Charges more than advertised, and makes it impossible to unsubscribe... See more

You took money out of my account…
You took money out of my account without my knowledge!!! My name on the credit card that was used is not mine it's the person I was searching for!!!
Absolutely a total scam
Absolutely a total scam! They did not provide me one even possible"Match"! Search results stated they had three confirmed matches after deep search, I paid my money (supposedly a $0.99 trial). Not only did the names not match, but the age of the person was 20 years off! Information.com billed my account immediately, instead of the 5-day trial they advertised. I had to cancel my debit card to ensure they wouldn't fraudulently charge me again. Don't waste your money on this scam!!
Worst business to deal with as would not refund charges - truly a scam
Worst business to deal with as cunningly charged $6.99 and 32.99 - what a rip-off business
Do not be scammed by these people
Do not be scammed by these people. They try to put a $35 a month subscription on your card. The information you request isn't even relevant to what you need. Avoid this website at all cost.
inaccurate information
inaccurate information, hidden fees and add ons, deceptive. dont waste your time and money
Couldn't rate them any lower
Couldn't rate them any lower, had to select at least one star. Not sure where they get their data but they sure don't fact check it. I have had my phone number for 25+ years however according to information.com it belongs to someone else, and since I am not that someone else they will not correct the incorrect information. Part of what they put out is my account, my phone number, they will not correct that, why because it's not my account, my phone number is my account it is not associated with the correct name, his name etc indicates that he is well over the age to receive medicare, my I'm less than 65 but how/why do I continue to receive calls saying I receive medicare. What a crock of SH&T. Oh and don't ask for a supervisor they are trained that there is no supervisor so you may or may not get the information that is in their database but if one record in their database is wrong there is a real good possiblity that there are more, possibly the entire database is just there to get you to spend your money to get data that is wrong and they know it.
Not at all surprising to find a 1.6…
Not at all surprising to find a 1.6 rating.
I signed up for a trial subscription to find lost family due to a recent death.
I submitted a cancelation request, fulfilling all their stupid people tricks in a timely manner.
Sure they canceled my main subscription but billed me for the add-ons after the cancelation.
I am not sure who translates a "cancel my subscription" request to a partial cancel, but some of the SPECIAL folks that work for information.com need extremely clear instructions. After all, how on earth can I use an add-on feature on a subscription that has been canceled????
Brightest of the bunch must be employed here.....
Save yourself the headache and the robbery and choose a different website.
Legal recorse is now my only option for future unauthorized charges. I am sure they have already made the BBB list....
Buyer beware!

Information I requested was not as I asked.
**DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BANKING INFORMATION!*
The first red flag was when they advertised receiving my report for $.99. I used my Venmo card which I always keep about $20 on at a bare minimum. I use that card instead of my bank debit for purchases when I’m unsure of the trustworthiness of the company in question. As I expected, they were not forthcoming with their actual fee charged and attempted to charge $29.99! The available balance was only $25 so it was declined, reaffirming why I use the Venmo debit card in that manner. That caused me to look up customer reviews and I was not surprised to see that they had almost exclusively two types of reviews… 1 star and 5 star. I noticed immediately that the one star reviews were from many different dates and all had major issues with the company repeatedly debiting money from people’s accounts either unauthorized or after customers cancelled due to improprieties from day one of opening their accounts. Additionally, the vast majority of five star reviews had similarly composed reviews and 99% of them were from 2022 with most of those being specifically from December 15th 2022. Clearly they were writing their own reviews in an effort to offset the glaring fact that they’re unscrupulous and dishonest in every way. Stay away from this company if you value your hard earned money and honesty from companies you choose to deal with.
Scam
Stay away from them. I thought I was paying $1 for a search. The search was not even who I asked for. They charged me $29.99 for 2 months. Never even sent an e mail that they were charging.

I would put ZERO stars if possible
I would put ZERO stars if possible. They are BIG CHEATS. Stay away from that company if possible.
It says 99 Cents it but will charge you $29.99
I recently went through an entire process to complete a background check, which culminated in an offer for access at a cost of $0.99. Trusting the offer, I entered my account information. However, almost immediately, I received a text message from my bank's monitoring system. To my shock, instead of the promised $0.99, the company attempted to charge me $29.99. Thankfully, my bank blocked the transaction, allowing me to avoid the charge altogether. Despite this, I am now deeply concerned that the company may have my personal and financial information. This experience has led me to believe that the company is engaging in fraudulent practices. They lure customers in with a seemingly low-cost offer, only to attempt a much higher charge once they have the customer's payment information. This deceptive tactic not only breaches trust but also poses a significant risk to consumers' financial security. Given the nature of their actions, it is clear that this company should be flagged as fraudulent. Consumers need to be protected from such deceitful practices, and it is crucial that this company is listed and reported as engaging in fraudulent activities. This will help prevent others from falling victim to their schemes and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to hold them accountable. In light of this experience, I urge others to be vigilant when providing their financial information online. Always monitor your bank statements and be wary of offers that seem too good to be true. If you encounter similar situations, report them to your bank and relevant consumer protection agencies to help safeguard others from potential fraud.
Incorrect data sold.
Incorrect data sold.
This company has no customer service.
They took my money after purporting to have data I paid for to background check for the purpose of hiring.
It took months before I finally got a response.
Privacy laws for several states are in place, and they denied that to be true.
A Better Business Bureau was reported
In addition, I attempted to opt-out of them selling my own data.
Again, they were deceptive and incorrect denying I had legal rights in my state.
There are absolute privacy laws and every single data broker must accept any and all requests to remove data.
Especially when they make money off a persons data.
Cant cancel online? No thank you!
I dont like any service that isnt transparent about their fees and or recurring charges. I also dont care for accounts of any sort that dont make it easy to cancel on line.
It's another con to get your card information and steal your money, they got me!
The website said to pay $1.00 for the search results. It takes a long time to actually get the results. But that would be all good; however, they also took $29.99 and $6.99 from my account. I most definitely didn't subscribe or anything like that. I have no real use for it at all. I was trying to find an old friend of mine. The website had very old information listed as up to date.... Still haven't found my friend and had $37.00 stolen from me. Please do not use the service as it's just another con to get the card number and steal your hard earned money..... Actually my grocery money for the week is what they stole from me.
I got scammed
I got scammed. I know the person I was looking up had arrest warrants and was currently arrested yet this report showed nothing.
They are scammers
They are scammers. This company told me a $.99 one time fee it's been three days later they have took $50 out my account. "Don't trust this company"
I don't know who still needs to be…
I don't know who still needs to be convinced that this is a scam company, but here it goes. It's a fckn scam, plain as a pikestaff. It looks like a museum piece at this point, I'm seriously impressed, this style was pretty common in like 2006-2008. They scan and parse the info from public sources like property records, Linkedin, Facebook, etc. Then the website shows you fake loading bars, hacker-style messages like "Breaking in.. Bypassing the time lock... Accessing FBI reports.. Accessing police reports..." And then, after you waited and waited for the colorful progress bars to load, you're slapped with "now it's time to pay!" That's the whole story.
NOT FREE AND SCAMMING SITE
advertised as a free report site and then said you have to pay because everything can't be free. Pick one or the other losers.
