Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as incompetent and unhelpful. People frequently encountered issues with the service provided, including problems with repairs, lost items, and a lack of communication. Reviewers also felt that the pricing for repairs was often unreasonable, sometimes exceeding the cost of a new product. Some people were dissatisfied with the product quality, citing instances where devices were returned in worse condition or with new damage. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with their experience, particularly when their devices passed checks without issue or when they received a brand-new replacement product instead of a repair.

Not too sure what to make of this…

Not too sure what to make of this company. Trading as Anovo via Sky.

Sent my phone off via Sky... they stated they fixed my phone and took the time to update the software for before returning...

Turns up, it's not my phone at all it's a different one? Same model etc but why state you have fixed it? When you have swapped it for a refurbished device?

SCAMMERS!!! AVOID!!!

Beats headphones originally purchased from Amazon, posted to Ingram by me with an Amazon prepaid postage label, for repair under warranty (headphones with band, one side had stopped working).

No news for 1 month so I emailed Amazon who got in touch with Ingram and "Mark" reported back that they could find no fault and had "returned the item to the customer". They then refused to answer ANY further enquiries from Amazon so I phoned Ingram directly. Ingram had no record of me, my address, the headphones, their serial number or anything else... How did they manage to return them then??? They just said "go back to Amazon". Full credit to Amazon, they refunded me.

Ingram are just scammers. They probably saw it was a very simple repair (re-soldering one wire) so did it "off the books" then sold my headphones "as new"; they were fully boxed with all the original packaging.

Partner dealing with this company…

Partner dealing with this company through sky mobile buy back, sent her nearly mint condition 12 month old phone away to them in its original box and protective packaging. She gets an email saying the screen is damaged. Upon asking for proof we get a photo from these knobheads of clearly a complete different phone that has a silver surrounding ‘my partners surrounding is purple’ with a screen that looks like it’s been rubbed down with sandpaper!!! Original phone offer was £143 which they now want to value at £28! Because of damage from clearly another picture of another phone. Absolute C***s

Do not use this company at all cost!!!

I sent my beats fit pros back to amazon for repair who sent it to the ingram Micro repair team, I sent the charging case with the left and right earbud. I only received 1 earbud back today with a letter stating they couldn't repair the issue.

I had to ring amazon for over an hour to get the issue resolved.

I don't know how any company (Ingram Micro) can be that incompetence that they lose your personal goods, I would avoid at all cost. If your items are going for repair via amazon ensure they DO NOT SEND IT TO INGRAM MICRO!! your better paying to have them fixed yourself.

Awful Company who just keep on lying

Sent my phone off for repair, never kept up to date, the phone tracking update service never updated online so I had to keep calling every few days for an update. This Company was known as ANOVO (Sky Mobile Repairs company that they use for repairing phones ect)

They informed me after I rang up to find out what’s going on, the back of the phone had a blemish, I always take photos of items being sent off and there was no damage before I sent the phone off, then again I had to call back and they informed me the back of the phone was now smashed, they tried denying it so I sent my photos to sky escalations and sky took it further with this company,

My phone is now being fully replaced by Sky themselves after this shoddy company damaged my phone and denied it

NOTE: Take photos of your device before sending it off to this company as they will damage your devices and then deny it, I’m just so glad I took photos of my phone before sending it off to this company as it really helped my case and proved this company lied

THANK YOU TO SKY WHO BACKED ME UP AND HELPED MY CASE.

If I could give a 0 I would!

Totally incompetent! By first the worst supplier I have ever delt with. Every order has been painful and now clients lost.
Kit doesn't get shipped, kit get lost and we are expected to pay for the replacements and fill out claim forms.

A bunch of theives

This company operates the vodafone buy backs scheme. I submitted a samsung s20 fe 4g amg they offered £28. Their original quote was £143 and since it was missing a sim card tray they wanted £28. I have purchased a sim card tray for 1.99 and asked for my phone back. They have refused to return it. I caution heavily against dealing with Ingram micro in any capacity.

Phone repaired 👍 FACTORY RESET DEVICE 👎👎

My phone was sent here after sending in for a repair via amazon. They informed me upon reciving the phone my issue ( a cracked screen) wasnt covered by the warrenty and id have to pay gor the repair, which is faid enough in my opinion.
They were very friendly over both email and phone correspondence. I paid for the repair and recived the phone back 2 says later.
I was intially happy as the screen was fixed however upon turning the phone on, they had wiped everything from it - completely factory reset it - for a broken screen; which while not the end of the world, I feel was a completely unnecessary step. I was not informed they would completely reset the device 😡

Great outcome via insurance

I was terrified about sending my phone off, having read the reviews, but it's where Nationwide mobile insurance said it had to go. I had low expectations but in fact my phone (very cracked screen) was fixed and returned within a week. When I'd looked for quotes, before I remember my insurance, I'd been told £150-£300 and several weeks as the screen had to come from China (OnePlus Nord2) so a £50 excess on insurance and a one week wait was a fab result. The screen edges don't feel quite as smooth as they used to but I think that's just a factor of having the repair. Return packaging and tracking via DPD was good too.

Pixel 6 headphone offer fulfilment

This company fulfil a range of offers for tech companies including Google and high Street shops who repair devices.

I am a Google customer who should have received their pre-order bonus headphones back in December for the Google Pixel 6 offer.

DHL have dropped the ball massively (per my last review) however, Ingram Micro have been just as bad. Been trying to contact them as they were the sender of my parcel, they have a contact number that never gets answered no matter the time of day.

Does Toni at reception still have a job? Is there even a receptionist anymore? How does anyone get in touch with no contact email or operational phone number.

Absolute joke.
