Total chaos from this Healthcare…
Total chaos from this Healthcare provider. Inability to respond to emails or calls. Referred as a priority but their failures meant I was mucked about for 6 weeks. Then they lost the contract.
Don't believe they have reception…
Don't believe they have reception staff. Phone isn't answered, and messages aren't dealt with, for hours at a time. Could only offer me appointments during rush hours. No use to me, I'm 81 and have to use a walking frame which isn't a good thing on public transport in rush hour!
Last minute text cancelling appointment
Referred by GP 9/3, assuming appointments are quicker than NHS. Took two weeks for a link to be sent. I than found out two clinics in Birmingham are miles away from where I live. Very few appointments,so had to log on over a couple of days. I had a holiday over Easter so couldn't make the first available. Made the next available appointment for 6 pm tonight 14/4.
I'm assuming the company are paid per job . I had a couple of texts reminding me and a phone call the day ensuring I was going to turn up. Approximately midday I got a text cancelling and to rebook. I gave up after 5 minutes, hanging on the phone as just music. Tried again later and weighted again. There was an appointment 18/4 but I'd already had something booked. I was told north Solihull I'd get one quicker in May. I asked what was available in south Birmingham and the first was 7th may. I asked had they a cancellation system but was told you had to phone. The system kept crashing as so many people were trying to rebook.
I'm not sure how much the NHS is paying this company but not impressed so far.
Incompetent grifting middlemen.
Really difficult to book an appointment that was suitable and local. So I booked a day's leave from work to go to the other side of the city; this appointment was then cancelled at the last minute. Couldn't get through on the phone to rebook as again no suitable appointments online. After 3 days of them cancelling inhealth then threatened to cancel my referral. Then I had to spend an eternity on the phone to book.
Incompetent grifting middlemen.
Claustrophobia & Anxiety, 2* given due to appalling first appointment.
2* due to my first appointment. At my first appointment, I found the experience extremely distressing due to my claustrophobia & anxiety. The picture on the letter of the open scanner was different from the one at InHealth Fitzrovia. I struggled with the narrow shoulder width, having arms directly forward on a cushion, and the head support being too tight. My legs were not supported either. I didn't feel safe. The level of customer care I received was unacceptable. My anxiety was not handled with the sensitivity or understanding that would reasonably be expected in a healthcare setting. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and the communication from staff lacked empathy, which significantly worsened what was already a difficult situation having travelled 3 hours to London. I did not appreciate being rushed, and having a panic attack, so not completing my scan. The staff simply did not care.
*** In contrast, my second appointment last Sunday on 8/3/26 was the complete opposite. 5* handled in a professional and most supportive manner. All staff on this second visit, especially Mamta, went out of their way to explain the procedure, listen to my concerns, and provide reassurance. Her patience and understanding made it possible for the scan to be completed. I did manage to loose 1 stone, and was able to get a private prescription to help relax me.
The stark difference between the two experiences highlights a clear inconsistency in the standard of care provided. I would like to highlight patients experiencing anxiety or claustrophobia are consistently treated with the understanding and support they require. My friend was allowed to accompany me during the scan in the room.
Online trying to log a complaint directly is not possible, as their website says there's a problem. 5* Mamta, thank you so much, and credit to your company.
Inhealth booking process
Inhealth operate a terrible text based booking system you can only see 2 days of appointments at a time, and if these don’t work for you, you then have to check back every day to see if you can get a suitable appointment time, I have been trying this for 4 days with no luck.
I then called the central “so called” customer service team, what a joke, abrupt and incompetent do not know the operating days or hours for the services you have been referred for, not interested in the least at trying to help you get an appointment at your nearest CDC, but are happy to send you miles away and even then the dates available seem to be only the hard to fill time slots available.
Total joke of a service, that we the taxpayer are stumping up for.
I wouldn’t give one star as I received…
I wouldn’t give one star as I received appalling service. Four times I have had my appointment cancelled.
5 Stars All Round
Had a CT scan at Inhealth Torquay very clean staff all very kind a 5 star experience all round.
Fantastic Crew
I had an endoscopy at Bicester and I was looked after superbly from the moment I came into the clinic to the moment I left. The entire team was empathetic and warm and kind and Matt led me through the entire process with such professionalism and kindness. He was amazing. I am so grateful to have such lovely people in our NHS. Thankyou.
No patients care at all.
I was reffered to Inhealth in Fitzrovia (London) for a pelvic scan for 2 consecutive years. On both occasions, the nurses/technicians where very cold and unwelcoming, more concerned with their phones (watching at it on loudspeaker during the examination!) than walking me through the procedure. The first time I had the scan, was slightly better as one of the practicioners was at least explaining to me what they found out through the scan and they were reassuring me. The most recent appointment felt awful and dehumanizing. I left the room very concerned about the scan results (not discussed with me at all) and felt not taken care of on a fundamental human level. Very umprofessional. Some people would be better off doing jobs that don't require human contact. The NHS should be ashamed to work with this provider.
Everything went smoothly & in a very…
Everything went smoothly & in a very efficient & thoughtful way. All the staff were very good. One was exceptional, Abigail. So im giving my first ever review on anything after being lucky enough to have such a great aftercare nurse.
Finally had my colonoscopy
Finally had my colonoscopy, I have no record of this has I had sedation. The hard part is the prep, that is something else and you could bend a folk in the drink, and when it kicks in, you raise quicker than a rocket going to the moon.... staff were lovely and friendly..
HIGH HANDED, EXPLOITATIVE, PATRONISING, OBSCURE
referred for echo, no appointments. Had to log in everyday. No appointments. Finally had an email appointment, 48 hrs notice. Was not told they would call me. I was told to call them. ...every day! Attended, seen on time, no problem. Received another appointment, 48 hrs notice, claiming I had rebooked appointment. I didn't. It looked like the same procedure so I phoned to enquire. I Kept asking the officer if it was a different procedure or a repetition. Eventually he stopped telling me I had rebooked and confirmed it was a different procedure. Nobody told me I needed two appointments.
Hearing clinic at the rsh
I attended the hearing clinic at the royal south hants hospital to get my hearing aids repaired the young audiologist was brilliant very professional extremely helpful and friendly she made the hour walk worthwhile.
no after care
I was referred to Inhealth Bristol for an abdominal ct scan with contrast. I became very ill immediately but sent home in pain and vomiting and told to ring 111. I spent the next 15 hours in A and E with a severe kidney problem that required urgent surgery. The lack of aftercare is obviously dangerous. I would never use this service again
Exceptional service end to end
Exceptional service end to end. Many thanks to the North Bristol team
Got a phone call Monday 10th November…
Got a phone call Monday 10th November to book an MRI through my insurance and managed to get in for 15th November. They told me on the phone they’d send over all details within 4 hours. Realised on the morning of my scan (Saturday) I’d had no communication, tried to ring but they were closed therefore I had to ring around MRI places in the area to see if I was booked there as they hadn’t even told me the exact location just the city. Found the place and the man on the phone told me they didn’t have my email address so didn’t send any info - could they not have text or rang me when they realised this? I had arranged childcare for my baby etc. then got another phone a few hours later to say the machine wasn’t working. Didn’t complain as these things happen but rearranged for 24th November at 7:20pm - this time at a hospital as I thought it’s unlikely the machine would break there. Again arranged childcare for my baby which was an inconvenience due to the time, however I wanted in for the scan asap so went with it. Got a phone call at 6:30pm whilst I was in the car on way to appt, to say due to staff shortages they were cancelling AGAIN. Surely they knew more than 45 minutes before my scan that no one was available?!
Waited almost an hr before procedure
Waited almost an hr before procedure
I had a severely sore throat and can’t swallow after coming home
So painful . Had this done before with no pain afterwards at John Radcliffe hospital Oxford . This time I was sent to in health at Bicester. Never again awful experience . I had endoscopy done
Done on 11/11/2025
AVOID !
I arrived at the venue at the Maypole Shopping Centre, Birmingham, for an NHS MRI, and was told the MRI has "broken down". They said someone should have called me to let me know. (They actually called me to say "don't come" while I was on my way home!) So - I rescheduled the MRI - and I've just had a text to say it's been cancelled. No explanation, no new appointment offered. What a shambles! AVOID!!! This business is UTTERLY unreliable.
My Recent Clinical Procedure
I had my second clinical procedure at the North Bristol InHeath Group clinic and it was as good as the first. The staff involved in my procedure were Jo, Victoria A, Maffy, Julie, Toni and Tom. I can not speak highly enough about the care I received. At each stage of the procedure I was given all the information I needed and given the opportunity to ask any questions. Each member of staff was very friendly and made me feel completely relaxed.
